From Japan - Yojimbo. Zatoichi, Hanshiro Tsugumo, Musashi Miyamoto, Kojiro Sasaki Zorro from Mexico Tom Joad from The Grapes of Wrath (awesome character). Arya Stark from Game of Thrones. I always liked Superman. From your list I like The man with no name. Marty and Doc were funny and likeable.

Tricky.
Since I was a kid, when I read a series (adventure or other), my favourite character is usually not the main hero, but a secondary character. Like in the Harry Potter series; my favourite character is possibly Luna Lovegood.
Here I'll stick to on-topic, and speak about the Bible.
When I was a kid, I liked Samuel (OT) and Peter (NT). I don't remember why. Today, I guess I don't really have a favourite character. Maybe Daniel (OT, apocryphes), because he (unwillingly?) exposes Christian hypocrites who pretend that the Bible does not have contradictions.

Real life: Jesus-Cause I don't want to be smacked down when I meet him later George Washington Carver-he da man! Daniel-Apart from Jesus, he's the one Bible character who has no recorded acts of temper or surrendering to evil, except for a few who have less written about them Nathan the prophet-Close to the same as Daniel. Liked the way he confronted David Didymus (Thomas)-His bio is the most comic of the apostles, if it wasn't for his horrible ending. He was funny. You know what I mean. Vidocq The Beatles Dr. Fleming Dr. Salk
Fictional: Tarzan Maglor Frodo Samwise Eomer Théoden Frank Bigelow from D.O.A. 1950 Brian Crookshank, aka Adam, Alex, and Peter Prometheus Martin from THE SEARCHERS John Russell the HOMBRE Jed Clampett The Virginian Sugarfoot Kal-El Mon-El Vogel from 49TH PARALLELL Peter from 49TH PARALLELL Johnny the Trapper from 49TH PARALLELL Dr. McCoy James Bond Cool Hand Luke Austin Powers Captain Lansen of THE LOST CONTINENT 1968 Homer Smith of LILIES OF THE FIELD

just the other day
i was praying to jesus just the other day and he was saying how the b1 bombers were his idea. . .
and i'm thinking; how wonderful that a prince of peace, was such the forward-thinker, to visualize melted children as universal playpen mobiles.

No one has mentioned Mr. Spock yet. I can't say I'm surprised.

the very model of a modern laser criminal
i've studied in the libraries of great and unadorable i've even made up lists about the super and implorable.
i lived out on the outskirts of those places you find hedious and went to the epitomes of lands of the oblivious.
i ventured cross the catacombs of heroes and their counterparts. i even picked the flesh as i ate out all their still beating hearts.
of course in matters physical both animal and digital there are no superheros like those who collect residuals!
