DC doesn't doesn't have any restrictions on their actors at all? So can Henry Cavill sign on to do a role at Marvel? What about Ben Affleck? I'm sure Gal Gadot wants to join the MCU. They can sign with MCU if they want to. But they don't want to sign with MCU because they know that MCU Dictator Kevin Feige treats actors and actresses like crap. Just look at the way MCU treated Mickey Rourke, Edward Norton, Natalie Portman, and Terence Howard. Yeah, that's the reason, or maybe because they're on contract for several movies in the future. Also lets not pretend DC is innocent here. Ask Jared Leto.

Yeah but isn't there some contract where people who are in DC can't be in a marvel movie? Or is D.C. Not as strict? DC never had any restrictions on their actors. That's why Michael Keaton could be in SMH. It's just MCU that has that restriction on their actors because Kevin Feige is a dictator who wants control over everything. Prove it.

ummm I think there is going to be a bit more cross-company crossover when it comes to these films.
his role in DC films are "minimal" but have a bit more potential longevity (yes I know he's not in JL), in Antman2 his role will probably be bigger, but there is a 70% chance he doesn't make it into a future film.

Also something just doesen't seem right about Simmons playing Gordon. He never struck me as Gordon and I don't think the movie will help me believe it's Gordon. I just see him as an older Jameson.

No. There is no contract on either side that prevents a actor from appearing in both DC and Marvel movies. Chris Hemsworth was joking if that's what you're referring to. So there's a chance that Jk could come back as Jameson? Simmons adored the role and has said that he'd love to return. i wouldn't get your hopes up, though.

But Keaton's last DC movie was in 1992, the concept of a Marvel movie didn't exist back then, as was the general idea of maintaining continuity between films. I seriously doubt Warner had it in Keaton's contract back then that said "you can appear in a Marvel movie for Disney if you wish".

No, if it was just 1 actor, then you could make a case for that 1 actor being a jerk. But when multiple actors were treated by MCU like crap, then the problem wasn't the actors, the problem was MCU treating them like crap.

But when multiple actors were treated by MCU like crap, then the problem wasn't the actors, the problem was MCU treating them like crap. No its the actors. Norton acted like a brat because he thought he was the supreme authority on The Incredible Hulk, and he barely helped promote the film on release. He was being very unprofessional. Portman didn't like that Patty Jenkins was replaced on Thor: The Dark World and was stuffy about it till release, if she were more professional she'd have just done her job - which was move on and do what she was hired to do, act. Rourke forgot that the movie was about Iron Man/Tony Stark and wanted as much if not more screen time, and instead of being professional he trashed them, which did his career more harm than good - Rourke's been stuck doing mostly DTV features since then, Sin City 2 has been his only major film in the past couple of years. Is Marvel to blame for this? Hell no, its on Rourke and his attitude. He had a great thing going after The Wrestler and he blew it. Terrence Howard wanted more money and didn't care for the material very much, and like Rourke forgot that the movie was titled Iron Man 2, not War Machine. Had this gone down with a DC film you would've called them out for their egos.

But when multiple actors were treated by MCU like crap, then the problem wasn't the actors, the problem was MCU treating them like crap. Portman never cared about the movies to begin with, she just wanted a chance to work with Branagh and stopped putting any effort in after the first movie. Howard was greedy, Rourke wanted the movie to be all about him and not about RDJ and Norton is a notorious Diva. The problem here is that the MCU had bad luck not hiring actors whose heads weren't up their asses.
