Mike Judge's new show on Cinemax is an animated program about behind the scenes shenanigans of country music stars told from first person accounts. Before you sneer and say you hate country music you should give it a chance. It's one of the funniest things I've seen in a while and surprisingly moving at times as well.
I'm not a country music fan but after watching the first ep I'm in for the whole series. It's no surprise to me but gangsta rappers and rock Gods ain't got shit on good old boys when it comes to drug and alcohol fueled excess and violence.
