Blow (2001) (9/10) is easily the best movie he appeared in (after that is 6/10's tops) but i would assume on a mainstream level he will always be remembered for Goodfellas (1990) (5/10 (but used to be a 10/10 for me)). but outside of Goodfellas, maybe Field of Dreams (1989) would be his next most known role?
