I saw In Harm's Way (1965) last night and counted 10 Career "Oscared" people in it.
Outside of those movies like Around the World in 80 Days were the movie is intentionally stacked with Oscared people, Which regular movie has the most "Career Oscared performers" in it?

Is "How the West Was Won" a regular movie?
"Bad Day at Black Rock" probably has the highest percentage of Oscared folks.

10 is hard to beat. I guess there's those all-star pictures, like biblical epics, which might give it a run for its money. Or perhaps a movie like 'The Player' (1992) for its galaxy of star cameos, though I'm not sure how many of the performers have Oscars to their names without counting.
I'll throw 'JFK' (1991) into the ring for having Sissy Spacek, Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, Tommy Lee Jones and Joe Pesci which makes a handy 5. Its leading man Kevin Costner has won Oscars for directing and producing but he's not won for his acting.

Films with at least FIVE career Oscar winners (for performance) plus additional Nominated performers (partial list with additions welcomed): By-passing cameos -- performers should be actually playing major or prominent characters within the story ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
HAMLET (1996) -- 8/3 THE LONGEST DAY -- 6/11 HOW THE WEST WAS WON -- 6/10 A BRIDGE TOO FAR -- 6/6 MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS -- 6/5 GONE WITH THE WIND -- 6/3 IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE -- 5/3 DEATH ON THE NILE -- 5/2 BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK -- 5/1 AIRPORT -- 5/0
(more to come)

Hey, kijii , are you talking about only winners or both winners and nominees? I don't think there are 10 winners in In Harm's Way, though there are probably 10 winners and nominees. I've been looking for winners, and so far my best success was Branagh's Hamlet. Can you please clarify? Thanks. I was talking about nominees only and performers only. Remember, several of those cast members in In Harm's Way had not yet been nominated at the time the movie was made in 1965. 1. John Wayne - Had been nominated for Sands of Iwo Jima (1950), and later won for True Grit (1969).2. Kirk Douglas - 3 nominations: Champion (1950), The Bad and the Beautiful (1953), Lust for Life (1957). 3. Patricia Neal - Had won for Hud (1964) and was later nominated for The Subject Was Roses (1969). 5. Brandon De Wilde - Nominated for Shane (1954).6. Dana Andrews - He never was nominated, so counting him was wrong on my part.7. Stanley Holloway - Nominated for My Fair Lady (1964). 8. Burgess Meredith - Later nominated for The Day of the Locust (1976) and Rocky (1977). 9. Franchot Tone - Nominated for Mutiny on the Bounty (1936) .
10. George Kennedy - Later won an Oscar in for Cool Hand Luke (1968) . 11. Henry Fonda - Nominated for The Grapes of Wrath (1941) ; 12 Angry Men (1958) & won for On Golden Pond (1982).

...the other day I watched "Mars Attacks" with Jack Nicholson, Natalie Portman, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito, Annette Bening, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michael J Fox, Sylvia Sydney, Rod Steiger, Tom Jones, Lisa Marie, Martin Short, Jim Brown, Pam Grier and Glenn Close.
For a hilarious sci fi comedy, that is quite a cast...

The entire cast of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" was Oscar nommed or a winner.

Thanks, kijii . Below I've listed 7 films with the total career Oscar nominated actors in the film first, and then in parenthesis the total career Oscar winners from that list. Hope this meets your criteria. And it looks like the top three (two of which were already mentioned) would be hard to beat, though I don't know if you consider them regular films or not. EXECUTIVE SUITE would certainly be that, however. There are probably more titles, but I'll leave those for others to find. HOW THE WEST WAS ONE -- 17 nominated (8 career winners) THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD -- 17 nominated (6 career winners) THE LONGEST DAY -- 17 nominated (6 career winners) HAMLET (1996) -- 10 nominated (8 career winners) BEAU GESTE - 8 nominated (4 career winners)EXECUTIVE SUITE -- 8 nominated (4 career winners) GIANT -- 8 nominated (2 career winners) I was just looking through the cast list of Beau Geste after seeing it on your list. It is amazing how many eventually Oscared people there were in it. With most of the others, the movies seem to have been made with Oscared people in mind. I was lucky enough to see three movies in a Cinerama theater. This one in Denver: The movies were: It's a Mad, Mad Mad, Mad World (1963)How the West Was Won (1962) and The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm (1962)They all seemed like big movies with big casts, but we were most impressed with the floor to ceiling screen that seemed wrap around us like nothing we had ever seen before. But. I can't stand IMAX: It is just too disorienting for me now.
