I don't understand why, but I had a dream about the Petticoat Junction TV show of the 1960s. The theme song is playing and the three actresses playing the Bradley sisters appear. Then the singer mentions Kate Bradley (Bea Benaderet) and afterwards the slow moving Uncle Joe Carson (Edgar Buchanan). The music continues and Kate Bradley is riding a bicycle traveling on a new road that seems to lead to a new residential development. She's pedaling uphill on the left side of the road. Uncle Joe is to her right and he's periodically punching her as she continues her bicycling. I think to myself that the faces of the actors can not be seen and it's not Bea Benaderet and Edgar Buchanan but people dressed like them.
Then I wake up. What's the spiritual significance of this dream? What's your interpretation?
Here's the intro for Petticoat Junction:
Here's a 2015 reunion of sorts:

Don't know. I just always thought that the town those three nubile daughters lived in was aptly named Hooterville.

The faces cannot be seen because both characters are versions of yourself. Kate is your "good" self, who is pedaling away on her bicycle on a new road to Pixley, secure in the knowledge that her three daughters are purifying themselves in the waters of the old water tower. Uncle Joe is your sinful self, trying to tempt Kate with another one of his zany money-making schemes. He can't keep up with her and resorts to feeble punches as she successfully resists him. The absence of both Mr. Drucker and "Dog" indicate that she is on her own in this battle between good and evil, but if she's strong enough to resist even the Devil (Homer Bedloe), then she can easily stand up against goofy old Uncle Joe.

Wow, that was a great analysis. I really am impressed. The significance of Kate Bradley riding her bicycle on the left side of the new road is now apparent. Kate is doing things her way, not Joe's way, and that's angering him. There's no traffic hazard since it's only Kate on the bike on a road with no cars. Nonetheless, her actions are not in keeping with Uncle Joe's ambitions and he tries to stop her with body punches. She shrugs him off. The road is going uphill and that presents Kate with difficulty, but one she can handle just as she can maintain stability on her bicycle. Yes, it makes a lot of sense. Thanks again.
