Of those listed, I picked:
The Karate Kid(1984) - very good film, kinda shocked at this 9/10
Rocky (1976) - another very good film, but I was disappointed overall, expected more 8/10
(yes, I do like The Karate Kid more than Rocky)
Breaking Away (1979) - by the end of this film, I was actually smiling it was so uplifting 9/10
Blades of Glory (2007) - silly, stupid and I laughed throughout 8/10+
My favorites overall not listed already?
The Bad News Bears (1976) - maybe my favorite sports movie 10/10
Eight Men Out (1988) - true story about the scandalous Black Sox 8/10
The Natural (1984) - far from perfect overall, it achieves moments of film perfection 8/10
Rudy (1993) - captures the essence of football better than any other film (that is, admittedly, not a long list of contenders)8/10
One on One (1977) - and here we have the film I think captures basketball (sorry, Hoosiers fans)8/10
Bull Durham (1988) - hated it as a kid, love it as an adult 9/10
Field of Dreams (1989) - very moving film 8/10
The Longest Yard (1974) - reminds me of how good Burt Reynolds could be 9/10
