Looked so good.
Too bad it was chopped to hell and dubbed over with music.
If you mute it and watch it slowly, you can see some intense looks from Leto to Robbie.
My God I'd love to see all the Leto-Joker scenes uncut with no weird editing and music dubbed over.
Id also like to see all the stuff where he hits Harley that was cut.

I think there's at least a pretty okay Ayer movie hidden beneath the studio mess we got.
I truly wish Ayer was allowed to make his own cut with all the footage he took. It would've been dark and disturbing, but so what? It's about the Suicide Squad; that's expected.

Agreed, in fact i would love a version of the film that didn't have the music in it, especially when some of the songs felt forced.

I don't remember even really noticing the music. Is the scene in question on youtube (to refresh my memory of it)?

I don't remember even really noticing the music. Is the scene in question on youtube (to refresh my memory of it)? You can see in the scene where she's doing therapy with him. It keeps cutting to weird edits where the scene feels 'trippy'... as if the picture gets saturated and bubbly. Then Joker will say something and then it transitions weird again with some music. As opposed to "The Dark Knight" when Joker is in the interrogation room and it's just pure acting/dialogue. I was just imaging how this scene would look uncut, just as it was filmed.
