I'm specifically referring to intellectual and well-spoken people who can do hand-to-hand combat. The only ones I can think of are BEAST from X-MEN and HARRY from KINGSMAN. You might think of JAMES BOND (since I mentioned KINGSMAN) but I'm not sure if he counts.

The first one that comes to my mind, is Liam Neeson as Peyton Westlake in Darkman (1990). Sure, he might not be the best or most impressive fighter, however he sure makes a very good job of combining his intellect along with a newfound "talent" for getting the better of his enemies, and I like this kind of anti-heroes, maybe not elegant or classy, but one who not only relies upon brute strength but also seems to often outwit his opponents.

Donatello (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) I'd say he's more of a nerdy teenager than an intellectual. There's also nothing classy about him.
