What aspect of your delusion is interesting? To whom? To whom what? I am fascinated by all the ego head space, pompous and pseudo-intellectual musings and pontifications about the meaning of what it means to be an atheist, and how certain posters are attempting to impress and outdo each other with all the knowledge they have amassed and are still caught and trapped. It's hilarious!

Your delusion about your "atheism" and what you think it represents. In my case, atheism represents a lack of belief in a deliberate supernatural. What do you have? There is no reason why such a 'force' cannot be entirely natural, which against being magical, is the only thing that an atheist like myself would concern ourselves with. The force of gravity for instance, working on the 'brute fact' of a slight imbalance at a perpetual quantum level, might ultimately be the cause of everything. But, as you have on previous occasions insisted that everything you say is likely to be illusion you will forgive me if, once again, it always being reasonable to want to avoid delusion, I leave things here. I am sorry, but not surprised, you don't care less. Attacking the messenger, and not the message is not really an answer. I fully admit though that the few one-to-ones I had with a (at that time) leading atheist and notable British thinker have proved more inspirational and impressive than all the exchanges I have enjoyed with your own good self on this board.

Read the question you asked me (that's why I quoted it), then read my response. "What aspect . . . is interesting?" "To whom?" Conversational English can't be that difficult for you.

OK. I agree, so far! At this point, I'm having a hard time determining if you're serious or not. In similar news, 27.973% of strangers will gladly give you their wallets....if you ask them nicely. The actual statistics do not exist for this statement, of course. They don't need to! I have just told you. (Believe me. Have faith. Try it out for yourself)! People being connected, aware and awake what is really going on with their lives and their reason for being, operates on a deeper and more holistic level, than the lame ass, asinine example you have just given. Just take a look around you at all the suffering that goes on. That is because over 95% of people on this planet, HAVE NO FREAKIN' CLUE! Are you one of them? Please stop your word salad answers and simply post direct replies without your vague, smoke and mirrors responses. What EXACTLY is going on in people's lives? Why does the realization of "what's going on" require more than the typical human senses. (Sight, hearing, etc.) What EXACTLY do you mean by a "more holistic level"? Sure, there's suffering going on. So what? What EXACTLY does that imply? There's also good things going on too. Does that imply the opposite? 95% of the planet "HAVE NO FREAKIN' CLUE"...about what EXACTLY? Are you in the 5% or 95%? How does a person become a member of the 5% category? My so-called "lame ass, asinine example" was direct mirror to your attempt at an response.

Thanks for proving my point by not really providing any meaningful answers. Time to wake up from what...or to what? I'm pretty sure that I'm not typing this post while sleep walking. At this point, it doesn't seem that you want to explain your views clearly. Also, at this point, I don't care anymore.

Also found this after researching Ray Comfort. It's called "Audacity" in which Ray Comfort says being homosexual is a choice. Just like wanting to have an affair with a neighbor is a 'sin' but you don't do it even if you have the desire. He also compares it to 'It feels natural to tell lies, but it's a sin. So even if feeling homosexual is natural to you, it doesn't make it right." www.audacitymovie.com/Alex Kendrick Writes - “‘Audacity’ will rock your assumptions…a must-watch!” John Piper says, “The metaphors in this movie about homosexuality are compelling.” Ken Ham reports, “Powerful, intriguing, challenging.” Thoughts?

I think that given the things you have learned about Ray Comfort in this thread, it is a little odd that you would care about what he has to say, or think others would. Let me ask you this : Why is homosexuality "a sin"? I mean, I can see that having an affair with your neighbour is wrong, because it involves one or both of you cheating on and deceiving a partner. Lies and cheating are pretty obviously bad in principle, right? But a single guy screwing another single guy... why is that wrong? I can't think of a reason. Can you? Can Ray Comfort?

You didn't answer my question, though. Why is homosexuality wrong?

So you have a lack of a belief, but it is still considered a belief, due to what your belief lacks? I'd say your belief is confused and doesn't really serve you well, because in order to have a lack of belief in the supernatural— I prefer "holistic" in this case—it still has to begin with a belief of supernatural, in order to disown it. It all begins with the holistic in the first place. Now what do you have?

It is not necessary to hold any belief in order to lack one, merely perhaps to have a concept of that which is under consideration. And, as has been explained to you before - when you got insulting - that lack of contingency in fact is what distinguishes different types of atheism.
It is however certainly true that the more I believe that everything has a natural cause, then the less likely is it that believe in a magical one.

The distinction between the different types of atheism is a phony belief and DOES NOT EXIST, so of course it lacks any sort of contingency. Whatever pretentious nonsense you mean by that. It is all in your mind sunshine.
What is this natural cause you believe in and where does it stem from?

The distinction between the different types of atheism is a phony belief and DOES NOT EXIST, Not for you maybe, as it suits your preconceptions. For everyone else, much is to be found by way of confirmation, including 1,890,000 hits on Google. EG: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negative_and_positive_atheismbut, keep going... If you mean that a lack of belief in the deliberate supernatural does not necessitate an assertion that it does not exist, I would agree with you. If not, then please show how and why. I see you are reaching for ad hominems again which is a shame - and still does not represent an answer to what is reasonable to consider. I don't have to have a specific natural cause in mind to think it reasonable that one exists (especially as I don't know all there is about nature - which is something I do know exists on its own account at least, and I and others can see it working). As already mentioned however I don't think it unreasonable to assume that there is something, as a 'brute fact', permanent at the quantum level of reality with a slight imbalance and which, perhaps through the effect of gravity, may be provoked into creating more of the which is always possible. In this, I suppose I tend towards the theories of Krauss and others. I might, of course, be wrong. But unless you are a creationist, then perhaps you have a favourite likely wholly natural cause of your own? Unless of course you still tend to view everything as an illusion, presumably including a Cause lol

What exists, is only born out of consequence of action. You may not always know what the consequence is and in what form. Nature is existent yes, yet it is all a projection of your\our minds, hence the illusion of nature. Your cause or purpose within that illusion, is what is immeasurable and ultimately relevant. Why do you mix words together to comprise a word salad of a sentence, that is ultimately meaningless and confused? It doesn't impress.

Your comprehension skills and lack of self-awareness is duly noted, especially your evasion of your holistic nature.
