I usually delete the previous week after it's all said and done. Having it there makes it easier for me to consider the records of all teams to see where I'll place them next, since as time goes by, it becomes harder to remember what each team did each week, so the previous week post is a reminder. Sorry if it gets to be a bit confusing. I could avoid it by simply consulting the previous thread but it tends to get pushed back a few pages so copying and pasting makes it easier for me. Maybe copy each week into a document on your computer to use as reference? Sure, that could work. I'll do it.

when Edelman went down it wasnt good. Why do Patriots fans always use injuries as an excuse. The 99 Rams lost starting QB Trent Green and still won the Super Bowl. The 90 Giants lost starting QB and former Super Bowl MVP Phil Simms and still won the Super Bowl. Edelman was never a Super Bowl MVP but only a role player. Why can you not grasp what fan I am? Houston dude, been Houston. Look at my fn posts, I talked all about the Texan game, you hate I got respect for a great player, that's what it is about. You kidding me, Edelman was Bradys "blanket" guy. No excuse, Brady's weakest week..week 1 AND HE STILL PUT UP 27 FN POINTS. You know the boner I'd have if my Texans could put up 27 on a weekly basis and be told,"Brady looks off." (Or for me it be "Watson looks off," but he's a rookie but I think most will grasp what I mean, you wont Cowboy fan, most will). Look at some of these games. Jets won and put up 23. Det won and put up 14. Brady puts up "27" and he looks old, think about that brother. NE has 5 rings, theyre doing ok. JC....how many playoffs wins does Dallas have? Stop your man crush on Brady and get one on Dak brother. Zeke has a suspension looming, and trust, if he gets suspended, we will all be hearing,"but if Zeke..." Your hypocrisy knows no bounds. Im from Houston, I love Texans/Astros/Rockets. You like Dallas and dont even live in the fn area.

All that he cares for, is bashing Brady. He couldn't pick the Jets, Bills, or Dolphins otherwise people would say he hated Brady just because of division rivalry or because these teams are Brady's bitches, so he picked Dallas. Like you said he almost never talks about Dallas. AH_Fan has confessed to klaw that he does all of this just for the sake of trolling.

OK, folks, we are in the middle of week 4. As usual, I'll be updating this thread as the games happen, until the end of week 4. Each week will add more clarity on which teams are winners, losers, or remain listed as "more evidence is needed." The original post will be the one being updated, and each time I do it, I will post a reminder that new updates are in. Feel free to comment with agreement/disagreement, predictions, etc. ----------- Week 4 remaining games: MNF Redskins at Chiefs ----------- Losers: Bears - looked miserable again - what was that??? What a horrible performance against the Packers, with all the turnovers! Almost beat Atlanta, beat the Steelers, looked like they'd be winners, but then they spoiled the whole thing in weeks 3 and 4 and they look like they are going nowhere. -Bears just look awful again. 1-3, and I dont see them getting better. Steelers are an odd team, they lay eggs in the oddest places. I agree, losers.Dolphins - they won the first game by a hair, almost lost. Then they got clobbered by... brace for it... the Jets!!! Then they laid another egg in London. -My friend is a Dolphin fan and he bashes them so much. "If a team needs a first win, play Miami! We love giving teams their first win!" Cutler man, I never trusted him. Im surprised no one is taking a flyer on Kaep, as long as Cutler is the starter...theyll go no where. Also, give Jay the ball more. IDK why theyre not feeding Jay 20+ times a game. Only 12 carries for 46 yards. Id give him the ball much more. Losers
Ravens - Flacco has back injury problems, the offense is anemic, they got clobbered by the Jaguars in London, and lost badly in week 4 too. Things don't look good for them. -No offense, lost to Jacksonville, lost today, not looking good. Looks like it's the Steelers division to lose. - Losers
Titans - After being obliterated today and giving away 57 points, and on top of it, losing Mariota... well, sorry Titans, you had been good but now you're losers. -I thought the Titans would make it a game of Houston, I saw a close game, and my worry was Houston going 1-4. Well at least if we can go 2-3. 57 on the Titans....that makes anyone a - loser.
Jaguars - Wait a moment, they were among the winners last week thanks to doing everything right and putting dozens and dozens of points on the scoreboard against the Ravens, and they played well in week 1. But they lost badly against the same Titans who got obliterated today, and then... they lost to the Jets! This warrants a leap from winners to losers. You know, I'm funny this way: I consider anybody losing to the Jets to be losers. Hehe. -Poor Jacksonville. They had a chance to go 3-1 and be in the divisions lead. Instead, they lose to the Jets (Thanks Powell, I sat him > Cohen, and Cohen scores 9 and Powell scores 31...darnit! Im in a close game and Powell would make it out of hand, darnit! Ok enough of my fantasy woes...it's close and Pow) Ok ok, but yea, you cant lose to the Jets. Still, I dont have them "losers" I put them - Need more evidence.
Jets - What to do with the Jets? They actually boast the same 2-2 record of New England!!! But they are still the Jets. I'll need very solid evidence to ever move them away from the losers' list. Sorry, Jets. -Hey Jets are 2-2....but yea, McCown the starter, I got no confidence in that. - Losers
Browns - Losers. Enough said. Sigh....well....least the Cavs brought Cleveland a title...right? You got the Indians! - Losers
Bengals - Sorry, Bengals, but beating the Browns won't take you out of the losers list, yet. -How does Lewis have a job, but hey, THEY SCORED A TD, ALRIGHT! - Losers
Giants - How do you spell 0-4 losers? G-I-A-N-T-S. -I had high hopes for them....0-4. You got OBJ, you got Marshall, I dont like the running game. I though the Defense would be better, this looks bad for them - Losers
Chargers - What's an alternative way to spell 0-4 losers? C-H-A-R-G-E-R-S. -Poor Chargers, theyre competitive but cant win! - Losers
49ers - A game with no TDs against the lowly Cardinals going to OT, regardless of which one of these two losers finally prevails, keeps them listed here. -Agreed - Losers
Cardinals - A game with no TDs against the lowly 49ers going to OT, regardless of which one of these two losers finally prevails, keeps them listed here. -Agreed - losers
Colts - Continue to suck without Luck (pun intended), and when Luck comes back he'll be rusty and it will be too little too late.
-While they are 1-3 and only one game out the division...IDC. Something looks off here, and even with Luck, I think it's too late for them = Losers.
Seahawks - Beating the putrid Colts is not enough to erase their previous 1-2 record. Sure, they got to 2-2 but still look worse than the Rams so they'll have to beat the Rams to move out of the losers list. -OK, now we got 4 teams we disagree on. Seattle has won this division, but those Rams are scary. Still, Arizona dont worry me and 49ers, lol. II also agree they look worse than the Rams, but like NE IDK if I can count out Pete Carroll. I gotta go with = Need more evidence.
Winners: Packers - with another good win, they moved from more evidence to winners -3-1, Aaron does what Aaron does, the defense still worries me, but I also gotta - Winners
Steelers - while they haven't been exactly convincing, 3-1 is not bad and moves them back to winners, after a week spent on "more evidence is needed" after last week's loss to the Bears -They are winners by default because their division is god awful. Browns are going no where, Bengals win because they played the Browns, and Baltimore doesnt look impressive. Someone has to win this division and it's Pittsburghs to lose - Winners.
Panthers - Certainly a win in NE is impressive, and their offense is clicking again. They played very well. But the fact that the lost so badly last week to the Saints raised lots of questions, especially because their first two wins were against sputtering teams. But then if you look at it more closely, week 4 did provide some evidence that they are better than they seemed in the first three weeks. See, the Bills, one of their sort of ugly victories, actually managed to beat the undefeated Falcons so it values a bit more Carolina's victory against the same Bills. And the Saints had a shutout today so that minimizes the fiasco of losing to them in week 3 (although the shutout was against the hapless Dolphins). Finally, the Panthers now are tied with the Falcons at 3-1 for the NFC South lead. But anyway, what decided me to move the Panthers to winners was the fact that they did play very well today, so, they earn the list by a hair, but one will want to see if they'll be able to hang on there. -Losing to the Saints....but hey, it's Brees. They looked bad, but have come back to be 2-2. Yea, Panthers and Dolphins, but you play to win. Also rivarly games, it happens. Weve seen NE lose to Buffalo, Dallas lose to the Redskins, never a shame losing to a division opponent, they know you better. NO not letting the Dolphins score....is Miami that bad or is NO saints D not as bad. Carolina is looking good. Nice defense, decent offense, they could be the sleeper team. They out Brady-Brady, 3-1 = Winners
Lions - Had not lost the winners list last week due to previous good games and a nail-bitter against the Falcons, and this week they won again so it's a no brainer, they remain winners. -Detroits Defense is impressing me. I didnt see that. Tate looks good, Stafford is consistent = Winners
Rams - This is a tough one to rank. Left a good impression in week 1, squandered it in week 2, beat by a hair the hapless 49ers in week 3 allowing 39 points by a team that hadn't scored a single TD in weeks 1 and 2 - all three games against weak teams, but then beat the Cowboys, and they've scored lots of points adding all four games, so they are 3-1 in a very weak division (neither the Seahawks nor the Cardinals look impressive) therefore their prospects are improving and now they get moved from more evidence to winners. -Yea, this division doesnt look strong like it did. Arizona looks bad, 49ers look bad, it's basically Rams V Seattle. Gurley is a fn monster, my lord, feed the man the ball! Hunt and Gurley man, playing out of their minds! = Winners
Eagles - They had already been moved to the winners list after some trepidation, but today they won again so their case became even more solid. -Eagles on top of the division at 3-1. I cant lie, I need more evidence with them = Need more Evidence
Broncos - They get moved from more evidence to winners, this week. After a tremendous game against the Cowboys they looked unimpressive against the Bills, which warrante more observation, but then they followed through with a good win against the good Raiders, which beefs up their case. -Broncos D Is legit. They are a top 5 defense. Mack jumps off my tv. Trevor isnt as bad as people think, they got Brock to back him (Nothing great, should have stayed a Bronco). Putting up enough points to win and the D carries them. Charles and Anderson are two good RBs, Sanders & Thomas good WRs, so they got offensive pieces too. = Winners.
Falcons - It's hard to stay undefeated and all teams are allowed a bad day so I'm not ready to move the Falcons out of the winners list yet just because of one loss. They're still 3-1.
-Right, Im with you. No one has went undefeated - those Dolphins, hell NE decided to blow it on the biggest game. I cant make them losers, I hope Julio is okay though. One week doesnt change 3-1. = Winners
Bills - they do look much improved now, after a good week 1 win, a good defensive effort against the Panthers even if they lost, and a win against the Broncos, followed by a win against the undefeated Falcons. Some caution, though: we've seen this film before; the Bills do have a history of strong starts and weak second halves of the seasons.
-WOW who would have thunk Bills would be in the lead > NE. Ill tell you who, NO ONE. They lost to Carolina, but hey, Car is 3-1 too. Broncos, Falcons....two good good wins. That's no cupcake wins, we arent talking wins against Bears, Indy, Dolphins, NYG or Chargers, they beat an undefeated Falcons team and gave Denver their only loss. Buffalo might be coming, but yea, like Eagles....they do this. I know Im being biased on the Eagles > Bills...but look who Buffalo beat! = Winners (For now)
Chiefs - nothing spells winners better than 4-0
-Only undefeated team left.....well Texans and Watson, show me whatcha got. KC is dangerous, Hunt is a monster. = Winners
Redskins - They disappointed in week 1 but then it turned out that it was to the Eagles who later proved to be very good, then they had impressive wins in weeks 2 and 3. They took it to the wire at Kansas City and still lost but it's no shame to lose to the best team in the league so far, while giving them a scare. -Good good game, but 2-2 IDK if theyre winners. Still, only a game out, and it is a weird season. Im going with = I need more evidence.
More evidence is needed: Saints - after two disastrous performances in weeks 1 and 2 with bad defense and their vaunted power offense issuing duds, they did beat two other bad teams, the Panthers and the Dolphins. So in spite of having improved from 0-2 to 2-2, it's not convincing yet that they aren't losers (one wants to see more games against good teams), not to forget that they play in a division with two better teams, the Falcons and the Bucs, so it's hard to predict a lot of success for them. Still, they have Brees and they did win two in a row, so, we'll need to keep monitoring them (this said, I suspect that ultimately they'll be losers). -I got my doubts too. Im confused, Panthers arent a bad team, theyre winners, so that was a good win for NO...now Miami...ehhh. NO also lost to Brady, no shame in that. They got Brees and he will keep them competitive, but with Falcons and Bucs in your league, IDK. Still = Need more Evidence.
Patriots - Last week the Patriots moved from more evidence to winners due to having the GOAT who orchestrated a phenomenal comeback to win the week 3 game. Now they come back to "more evidence" because even having the GOAT wasn't sufficient; their defense performed poorly and they still lost to a team that hadn't been great. Should they move to losers? Not yet, because, see, Carolina actually played very well. If one hadn't seen Carolina's first three games and just watched today's game, nobody would call the Pats losers for losing in a hard-fought battle to a team that played so well. Maybe the Panthers are simply better than expected, if their QB starts to come back to form, so I'm not ready to move the Pats to losers for having lost today's game. We'll see how they do in a short week against the Bucs. If they lose again, though, well, there will be no denial that they're vulnerable. -I thought they made good moves in the offseason. I thought Cooks would be a deep threat and would have more TDs under his belt. He only really blew up against my Texans. Hogan right now he stepping in for Edelman. Gronk is doing his thing. Cooks and Brady have to get on the same page, he can be a huge weapon for them. Amendola is also so brittle, I dont trust him. I mean they got Butler and Gilmore, Hightower is still there, this defense shouldnt be this bad. I dont like NE going 1-2 at home, hey maybe they need to just slip in as a wild card team. 1-0 on the road, Im surprised to see NE losing at home like this. Yea they cant lose to TB they have to win that game. Offense cant carry them. Feed Gilli the ball more too, he's looking good. Gronk and Hogan keep on keeping on. Cooks and Brady need to connect more. = Need more evidence.
Texans - They came out of a good week 3 effort in Foxboro and clobbered the Titans. Their first two games, though, didn't inspire confidence and a 2-2 record is still tentative, so this is an easy call, placing them on the more evidence list. -Remember, Savage played week 1. Watson is 2-1, and he put Houston in position to beat NE. Now....KC comes up. If Houston can take out KC (Who I think will beat Washington) Watson is the legit real deal. Until that = Need more evidence
Vikings - Looked good last week with a back-up QB but then just one week later scored only 7 points. At 2-2, where this team is going is still a mystery. -It gets worse. Looks like they lost D. Cooks. Not good, I hope L. Murray can pick up the pieces. Are they better than the Pack...no. Detroit...no. Bears, yes. Theyll end up in 3rd place in this division. I got them = Losers
Cowboys - One great game in week 1, one terrible game in week 2, a win against the toothless Cardinals in week 3, a loss in week 4. 2-2, still not a disaster since apparently today Dak and Zeke played better for most of the game, and the Rams to whom they lost are actually seeming better than expected. I'll still keep them as more evidence but they are squandering it rapidly. If they don't improve decisively in week 5 it will be time to move them to losers. -Zekes suspension looms..they needed this win. They are only one game back, no panic button yet, but I expected more = Need more Evidence
Bucs - When you need a last second field goal to beat at home the horrible New York Football Midgets, I mean, Giants, questions remain about your viability, so at 2-1, we still need more evidence to place the Bucs. -AgeedRaiders - At 2-2 and after a good start, they fizzled, although losing at Mile High is no shame. Regardless, we need more evidence. -Playing at Denver makes good QBs look average. That stadium man! No shame, but now...lets hope Carr is okay, or they coud move to losers in a hurry = Need more evidence.
TBC I did the lazy way, I made my reply under yours. I bolded my reply though, so hopefully no confusion! I disagree on: Jacksonville - I feel need more evidence Eagles - Yes 3-1 but I still like Dallas and think they can come back. IDK if I trust Eagles, so I say need more evidence as well. Minnesota - I think losers. They lost Cooks, Packers and Lions, they got no where to go. Edit: Ok 4 teams! Seattle - I cant count out Pete and the boys of Seattle. Yea, they only beat Indy, but look at the upsets this week. A win is a win...and I cant count out Seattle yet. Rams look better to the eye but I got to see more evidence from Seattle, I just cant call them losers. Pete is a winner, he went 1-1 in college and 1-1 in superbowl. I got to see more from them, so I need more evidence with Seattle. Edit 2 OK now 5 teams! Washington is 2-2. Dallas is 2-2 and Eagles are 3-1. (Poor Giants). I wanna see more from Washington, I had to go with more evidence. So we agree on all but those 3 (4 now). Again I put my reply in bold, good times man!

Nice, Shady, I like your thinking. Yeah, we disagree a little bit over only three of them, which is fine. Subsequent weeks will sort it all out. I enjoyed it tbh. I like all your observations, again only 3 teams out of 28 (4 tbd) come on! Minnesota...losing Cooks imo will hurt. (They are fearing the worst). Also where do they go? I think Packers are the cream of the crop of the division, and Detroit has impressed me. Their defense (Det) has been consistent (Play fantasy football....pick up Dets defense. They been putting up consistent points.) Detroit and Packers are 3-1, and I just dont see Minnesota passing either. I think theyll be stuck in 3rd place in this division, I know it's week to week and maybe Im cheating a tad, but I just cant see promising things for them. Jacksonville - Im just not sure. I like their rb Fournette. I think he is highly under-rated. I like their defense. With a running game and a D....youre always in the game. It's anyones division for the taking. If Indy pulls out a win, we got a 4 way 2-2 tie between all of them. I just wanna see a little more. I know everyone in the south is 2-2 (Well, colts TBD) but the teams all look "okay." Titans were competitive until the smashing today. Since Watson has come in, they only lost a nail biter to NE. Jacksonville did beat us (With Savage) and Baltimore, but lost to the Jets and Titans. (They did lose in OT this week too). Indy, could be 2-2 as well (10-8 game atm). Luck hasnt even played yet, if Indy can just keep them in the picture, who knows! So I do wanna see more from this Jacksonville squad. Philly - Im just not sure yet. They seem to do this, start strong (Started 5-2 last season) end weak (Lost 5 straight weeks, and beat a Dallas team in week 17 who had nothing to play for.) I just gotta see more from them as well.
