I haven't seen too many of his films, but he's a great actor. Wish more was available in the US that was subtitled. I'm planning on picking up Le Samourai when it comes out on Criterion later this year.

...and 1/3rd of Sprits of the Dead where he portrays William Wilson along co star Brigitte Bardot...the other 2 were Metzengerstein and Toby Dammit. Metz featured Peter and Jane Fonda and Toby featured Terrence Stamp...
