Keep in mind that I watch a lot of genre and B films, as well as kids/family films, where many are under 90 minutes, and sometimes they're barely over an hour. Especially a lot of older B films--when they were literally B films meant to play before a feature--were closer to an hour, and there are tons of kids/family films that are 70 minutes or just over. So six films wouldn't usually take more than nine hours, and they could actually be under eight.

Rarely more than 3. Think I've watched 4 in a day a few times. Don't think it's ever been more than that.

Assuming we stick to more legitimate length movies (i.e. say at least 1hr20min, but typically 1hr30min-ish or more)... 1 movie in a day = no big deal. 2 movies in a day = it happens a fair amount but is not super common for me. basically no big deal as it's not hard to do. 3 movies in a day = starts to get rare here, but not super rare. 4 movies in a day = very rare. 5 movies in a day = this likely has not happened but if it had it's almost non-existent level. 6 movies in a day = i highly doubt this has happened. so with that said, just to comment on the days i have hit three movies or more in the following years... 2017...Jan 16th 2017 = 3 movies Mar 27th 2017 = 3 movies Mar 31st 2017 = 3 movies NOTE: the movies in March 2017 i have seen are also a bit shorter than what i typically see. 2016...July 29th 2016 = 3 movies (although technically, while i did finish seeing all three movies, part of the third movie was seen on the 30th even though most of it was the 29th. so this probably don't fully count. but it's the only time in 2016 i somewhat hit three movies.) 2015...Feb 7th 2015 = 3 movies Feb 9th 2015 = 3 movies Dec 2nd 2015 = 3 movies 2014...June 22nd 2014 = 3 movies Aug 20th 2014 = 4 movies (movies viewed... Three Colors trilogy/The Sessions) Sep 14th 2014 = 3 movies 2013...Oct 25th 2013 = 3 movies 2012...Feb 16th 2012 = 3 movies July 11th 2012 = 3 movies Aug 30th 2013 = 3 movies so as you can see i do hit three once in a while but after that it's quite rare and beyond that is either non-existent or damn close to it. on file(see info below), i don't have a single time i hit five movies and only hit four once. also, there is more times than what i have listed here i 'somewhat' hit three movies but it was not a full three so i did not include them either because i could not finish the movies due to boredom or they were split up between other days which is enough to put it lower than a full three movies. basically i have seen three or more movies in a single day 13 times in a 5-6 year time period and only one time have i hit four movies and in general i never really started to increase the volume of movies i see til about the year 2003. so chances are if i ever did hit 5 movies, which i doubt, it was likely around 2003 to date and i highly doubt i ever seen 6+ in a single day. p.s. i have data since Dec 27th 2011 to date since that's when i started logging ALL movies i see. NOTE: my average movies seen per week in the following years... 2012 = 4.57 ; 2013 = 4.47 ; 2014 = 6.44 ; 2015 = 5.77 ; 2016 = 5.24. so basically... in a full 5 year time period i averaged nearly 5.3 movies a week. ------------------------- Fox in the Snow We are pretty much a mirror of each other here. if i am wrong, it's barely. just since i have been keeping track, which is Dec 27th 2011 to date, i have only hit four movies in a day ONE TIME. but i have hit three movies in a day 12 times. Wesley Crusher Damn! ; that's like 12hours or so which is pretty close to when you get up to when you go to bed. hell, it probably was because if you figure an occasional break to hit the bathroom and some occasional break for food that probably means you got up and not long after started watching movies and then pretty much stopped when you went to sleep, right?

I watched all 8 original Friday the 13th movies one time on a Friday the 13th.
Then I skipped Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X to watch "Freddy vs Jason" last.
So I guess 9 is my record.

Just a few years ago I would regularly watch up to three movies consecutively at movie theaters, with no more than a 15 minute breaks in between. Probably did a stretch of four on at least one occasion.

5 movies (I also watched 4 movies once), but those 2 days are exceptions. I usually never watch more than 1 or 2 movies a day.

Must have been during the October Horror Challenge in 2012. I had done all of my schoolwork a month in advance and basically cleared my schedule except for work to try and beat the record. I don't think I have day to day stats, but I watched 208 horror movies that month.

Don't think I've ever watched more that two movies in a single day. And the last time I did that was almost two years ago now.
