I'm glad someone else remembers that show. I had a huge crush on Katie Saylor

Threshold (2005), Nowhere Man, The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (1993 - 1994) I totally agree here dayodead . Another favorite of mine that was cancelled before it was time and so furious when the following week something else was on in it's place . This unique & fun show had a bit of everything in it and a great all star cast too ( Comet the horse was my favorite and I also remembered he only wanted a green apple for his breakfast too ) . Thanks so much dayodead for remembering this fine show too .

Whats interesting is it makes you wonder whether certain shows wouldve lost something had they kept on like Awake, which I loved but might've become tedious had it continued.

Loved that. I heard it was only meant to be a one-shot fill-in series. they had plans for three (or four?) seasons. i remember that one would show the invasion's effects on Wall Street, another Silicon Valley. it does work fine as a stand alone, single season, which is itself nice and more than many canceled shows can claim.

OH another canceled show I liked and just remembered, not necessarily a "great" show. But it was fun and unfortunately ended with a cliffhanger was Alcatraz Wow that was 5 years ago? Time be a flyin'.

My question is how these bad shows keep getting renewed when nobody I know watches them? How did Rosewood or The Mick get two seasons while Forever got cancelled? I wish I knew.

A couple years ago I rewatched the entire 'Quark' tv-series on DVD from Netflix. Enjoyed it.

I don't know if I would necessarily call them 'great' but some I liked and wanted to see go longer were
GCB Red Widow 666 Park Avenue Intelligence
Also some with 2 seasons
Dark Angel (still hate that this got cancelled) Witchblade (Highest rated TV show to get cancelled in history due to Yancy's alcohol and drug addictions) White Collar Blue Marvel's Agent Carter V (Remake) Tru Calling Revolution
I am sure there are others too but those are some that come to mind.

I loved Quark, When Things were Rotten, and especially Wizards and Warriors. They were all hilarious. I also liked Special Unit 2.

Adventure Inc. (2002) was another good one.
Oh and also, Young Blades (2005).

In terms of recent shows, let me state that I rather enjoyed the silly Hooten and the Lady--half Indiana Jones, half The African Queen--that was cancelled after only a single season. Certainly not masterly television, but good fun, and exactly my cup of tea.
Then (remarkably) there's The Honeymooners, of course--the Classic 39.
Ah, and how could I forget Ellery Queen? Probably the best TV detective series after Columbo, and far, far superior to Murder, She Wrote.
I haven't seen 'Hooten and the Lady' yet (although I've DVR'd the first episode), but I thought it was meant to be a take on 'The Relic Hunter'.I'd never even heard of The Relic Hunter--was it any good?--but I will say that the pilot definitely combined Indy and The African Queen. The next few episodes weren't as good, but the show did have a lot of potential.

NalkarjRelic Hunter (1999-2002) was very good imo. It starred Tia Carrere as a sort of Indiana Jones with a dash of Xena.
