......experiencing success (or failure) now, will be experiencing the exact OPPOSITE as a team, by the time the playoffs start in January (in other words, what we're seeing from certain teams now, will NOT be what we're seeing from them in another 3 months) ?? SAVE FERRIS

I don't think the Eagles or Lions will remain atop their divisions by the end of the season.

The Eagles have played three out of four on the road with two against the west coast and two against divisional opponents. That is the toughest start, schedule wise, in the NFL so far this season, yet they are 3-1 and a top the division. They finally come home for a few games against teams that they should be better than. Things are actually looking up. They are easily the best looking team in the division right now.

It would be charming if the Bills won the division (and imagine if the Pats couldn't even land a wild card spot?) but come on, we all know it's not going to happen.

The Eagles have done well so far but it'll be interesting to see if they keep it up. They play Arizona and SF, but also Denver, Seattle, the Rams, the Raiders on top of their divisional games which could really go either way. They play @ Carolina on short rest after the Cards game. There's a stretch in December where they play @ Seattle, @ LA Rams, @ NY Giants before their last two games versus the Raiders and Cowboys. It's certainly no cupcake schedule.

They have the toughest schedule, logistically, in the NFL this year. However, as I stated, they have already had two west coast road games and 3 of 4 road games overall, yet are 2-0 in the division and 3-1 overall. I could not ask for a better start. We SHOULD beat Arizona and San Fran to go to 5-1.

Only one of them is one the west coast, unless you consider that beach town Kansas City on the west coast.

DSDSquared just got owned! KC is a West Coast team, by the NFL definition, but yes, they are not technically on the West Coast.
