Wasn't a big fan of his music but I liked his Buried Treasure show on Sirius XM, and of course, on King of the Hill. More sad news in a day full of sad news.

Never went or wanted to see him live.
But I always liked his stuff.
Hard to actually pick his best song. Probably "The Waiting" or "Woman In Love."

Anyway, I hate to hear this. I've always been a fan of Tom Petty's music. My favorite songs of his are I Won't Back Down and Even the Losers, he has many great songs though.

I never cared for Don't Come Around Here No More (creepy video too), but all other songs listed are great along with Mary Jane's Last Dance, Yer so Bad, Here Comes My Girl, Don't Do Me Like That, American Girl. I can go on, and if I gave an absolute favorite it would be tainted because I would give a different answer everytime asked. Damn The Torpedoes was one of the first albums I owned, and I was fortunate enough to see him live! |
