Legion isn't made for lowbrows like. It's made for people, who wants to use their brains. That's what people that can't figure things out tell themselves. Legion was really straight forward with lots of "artsy" flash. ? Legion was not straight forward, quite the opposite. it was never going to be straight forward because the concept of the character is not straight forward at all and when you combine that with a very talented tv creator and FX, you have something genius. ''artsy'' yes, flashy, no. there was hardly any flash in Legion just amazing story telling and great characterization, Definitely the best TV work marvel has done so far but don't we always expect that when it comes to X-Men? If you want flashy tv comic shows, try the CWs The flash or ABCs Agents of Shield. Are we getting all salty again? Maybe Legion is a rip off of jessica/tracy from Heroes or Angel/Liam/Angelus from Buffy.

I have not seen this show but I keep up to date with what is going on with it.
I think I will stick to Legion for now. FOX TV is just awful.

Without any spoilers before hand, I figured out what was going on and who the villain was. And by figured it out (cause it wasn't had to) I mean I just watched it. There you go again getting all paranoid. Salty? What in my post led you to believe I didn't like watching Legion? I'm waiting on them to bring on season 2.

you got me mixed up with you.
If Legion was straight forward then what was daredevil and Jessica jones? fan fictions? you should have predicted those shows a lot more. right??
the truth is Legion is the most compelling and complex tv show marvel has ever done. you can try and argue on that.
If you are talking of Noah Hawley, he created and runs the show.
when someone calls legion straight forward but adores Spiderman homecoming, winter solider and avengers (Disney basic abc) and does not know what the word ''create'' means...its not been paranoid, its fantasy.

[/p] If Legion was straight forward then what was daredevil and Jessica jones? [/quote] Unashamed. Pretentious, dull and ashamed of its roots. They appreciate unashamed stuff. Stuff that doesn't pride itself on trying to "transcend" the genre like the genre is bade, but rather elevating the genre's status in the Mainstream consciousness.

You're all mixed up because you want a narrative with people that aren't gushing over X-men and you aren't getting it. All of those other shows/movies are pretty straight forward also. Shows like Daredevil and Jessica Jones wasn't about predicting anything, but about the growing of the characters. We found out who the villain was pretty early because they told us who they were. Legion actually tried to keep it a secret for more than half the series. You want it to be the most compelling. Talking of Noah Hawley what? What are you talking about? You are being paranoid because you think anybody that says anything against what you like hates it.

It is not about gushing over x-men, I don't gush over xmen when they mess up.gush also refers to blind fans, I am not a blind fan. when I think of the term gush, it fits mcu fans and MCU movies. I have no love towards Gifted, did you see me picking on people that like the show?no. Do you see me gloating over the disaster that is Inhumans? no. I feel sorry for those actors in Inhumans and I blame Marvel for their vindictiveness and their sick attempt to try and use inhumans to replace xmen. I mentioned JJ + DAREDEVIL, my point is Legion was superior to those shows. Legion tried to keep the villain a secret because the show was compelling, that is what compelling means...don't give it all so easily away and it worked. everyone thought it was mojo. it was only in the end we knew about the shadow king. It was not even another real Legion persona as the other fan theories. I hate to say this but you might have exposed yourself here? You never originally said you hated legion. but I think..maybe you just did.

It is not about gushing over x-men, I don't gush over xmen Except when you do...which is pretty often. It's not, it just pretends to not be based on a comic like nearly all Fox products.

You never originally said you hated legion. but I think..maybe you just did. Are you okay? You need someone to talk to? I think you are a blind fan because you are ignoring everything I'm saying for that narrative you want. I didn't ask you about Gifted... You just gloated over Inhumans being a disaster in the sentences about not gloating about Inhumans being a disaster. And then cried about them replacing them with X-men. Which is funny because they tried to replace Inhumans with X-men in the comics. Why are you mixing up parts of conversations? Why would people think the villain was Mojo? Mojo has no super powers. He's just an alien. Mojo is more of a Hunger Games/Running Man type of villain. He is not a character that takes over a person's body. But Shadow King is... If everyone thought it was Mojo, that tells more about those fans than anything. I guess that shows why it was so "compelling" to you. I knew it was Shadow King the moment he was shown. I had to put up spoiler warnings when I came here because, surprisingly, no one else did. It wasn't an established Legion persona, but that is how Legion works. He draws them in and they take over his body. He's the opposite of Proteus. Because I left off a comma? See that's what I mean by paranoia. I'm not gushing over Legion, so you think I hate it. I'm just telling you that it wasn't as smart as you think it was. It was a straight forward superhero show that tried to make itself look really smart with "artsy" flash.

And since we got off topic because of the people wanting X-men to be on top of the food chain because of the 90s, let's get back to The Gifted.
I wonder if Polaris is just going to be the Magneto character. Singer loves Magneto and I wondered if he pushed her character in to replace him. But she can also just as easily become the Jean Grey of the show. I can see them going the direction of Malice to make her like Phoenix. And will they bring in Zaladane?

I have seen every episode of The Gifted so far and I have to say it is starting to get boring. They better start amping up Sentinel Services. Right now Sentinel Services is only slightly more threatening to mutants than Wile E. Coyote is to the Road Runner.

The show can go only 2 ways. SS captures them and they go to prison then break out an episode or 2 later or they keep getting away from them showing how incompetent the SS is. They really need to make this underground group into the new X-men type of group (since they aren't around). Have them fight other villains (human and mutants) and saving people (human and mutants).

Right now Sentinel Services is only slightly more threatening to mutants than Wile E. Coyote is to the Road Runner. I wonder why they went with the sentinels, the sentinels are one of comic/xmen's most iconic villains. I thought this show was only meant to focus on C list xmen mutants and villains. this is what I always felt will go wrong with the show unlike Legion. I hate all this.... its xmen with really not xmen stuff. At least with Gotham, that is a true Batman show. with his A list heroes and villains and Batman himself.
