The cast looks good for the most part but I wonder if this wouldn't be better as a miniseries. I just watched the series based off AND THEN THERE WERE NONE last night;the cast included Charles Dance, Sam Neill, Toby Stephens, Maeve Dermody, Aidan Turner, and Miranda Richardson. That was really good.

That was really good. I think they want to keep it tight and potentially rewatchable, because personally I find myself rewatching films over a miniseries, regardless of its quality. True Detective season 1 is great, but I've seen Girl with The Dragon Tattoo 3 times and I think it's a notch below what True Detective is.

I'm looking forward to this. It should be excellent with the cast that's been assembled and Kenneth Branagh directing.

Will it be better then the 1974 movie? We'll see. I wonder how Branagh will portray Poirot? Cool like Suchet? Comical like Ustinov? Or quirky like Albert Finney?

I'm really looking forward to it. I love the book, the movie, and even the controversial Poirot episode. Plus, it's got Derek Jacobi and Willem Dafoe!

This is the first I'm hearing of it. I loved the book, but I never saw the earlier movie. The cast sounds good, so I'll watch.

While looking forward to this adaptation, definitely recommend the 1974 version, a very decent film. Always thinks that Agatha Christie's works are good material for film and TV series and really enjoy several version of adaptation. Can't wait for this latest Poirot!
