All genres of music sound the dsame to me so I couldn't really say. Why don't you try new wave? Listen it's totally acoustic free. The whole genre has a clear, crisp sound that really gives sameness a big boost. It's been compared to post-punk, but I think wave a bitter more cynical sense of humor. But what about grindcore? Our grindcore?

I have literally never understood music or its appeal. Any time I listen to a song, I just don't get it. What's enjoyable about it? I know I'm in a very very small minority but I wish I could understand what it is about music that people like. It all sounds the same. What a waste of a life it is listening to people singing and playing instruments. Get yourself a good pair of headphones and a comfortable easy chair, put on something like the Dark Side of the Moon, turn off the lights, and close your eyes. Maybe then you'll get it. Think of it like a mini-movie for your ears. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

But what about grindcore? Our grindcore? You actually listen to grind core? More than once? Hahaha. You like Rotting Cock? Their early work was a little too noisecore for my taste, but then My Sister Is Dead And I Fuck Her Corpse Every Day came out in 2007, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that gives the songs a big boost. They've been compared to Anal Cunt but I think Rotting Cock has a more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

Listen, I'll help. Let me see; Katrina & the Waves, Robert Palmer, Huey Lewis and the News, Phil Collins, Whitney Houston. If you need anything, anything at all..

I know I'm in a very very small minority but I wish I could understand what it is about music that people like. It all sounds the same. What a waste of a life it is listening to people singing and playing instruments. What a strange but interesting thing to say. I do know someone that I know who does not like music that much either, and that was because her brother listened to it constantly when she was little. Have you been through something similar or don´t you just like musical in general for no reason? Have you tried music genres that intrigue you? I love music, but certain songs don´t do it for me, so in my opinion it all comes down to the melody and the lyrics, which changes for anybody depending on taste and culture. I on the other hand don´t understand this fuss with alcohol and smoking. That may be because I did not drink that much/fast as a teen and then got the weird look for it. But to this day, I just don´t like the taste of alcohol- talk about being in the minority ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) .

This is surprisingly high quality bait, you get a B+ for this effort. Hopefully this new landscape will continue to produce a better breed of troll than the old site.

I appreciate the suggestion guys, but I guess music just isn't my thing. I have to ask though, what is it about music you enjoy? No offense but maybe you have something missing in your life is listening to sounds brings you any kind of happiness.

I've always loved music since I was a little girl. Babies have a natural sense of rhythm but some lose it along the way

Not a big music fan, huh? No, I like music, it's just...anything non-metal is just too black-sounding for me.
