This film takes place 30 years after the first one that was set in 2019 and follows Ryan Gosling (Drive) playing a young blade runner who discovers of a long-buried secret that leads him to track down a former blade runner Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), who's been missing for thirty years.
is that what they are calling all the replicant hunters now? i'm fairly certain it was intended as a singular monniker for the Deckard character. Nah it's what they were always called in the first film, a blade runner was killed in the opening scene before they called on Harrison

I am shocked you guys love it so much. The movie was visually great but literally 2 hours of "Joe" walking around and talking. The last 30-40 minutes things happen but before that it was very mediocre and Gosling came off too Gosling at times.
It doesn't hold a candle to The Final Cut of the original (but miles better than the Theatrical Version with the lame voice-overs and happy ending)
5.5/10

Blade Runner - The Final Cut is still better though I agree. 9/10 for both.
