OK, folks, all apt for the season at hand...
What is your favorite screen adaptation of Dracula?
I've chosen several that I think are the most well-known, but I'll place an "other" category there as well...
Keep in mind that these are strict adaptations of the book, so (e.g.) Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein and Dracula Has Risen from the Grave are not going to make the list.
Also keep in mind that the poll is for your favorite film-as-entire-film, not just "your favorite performance as Dracula."
OK? In that case, without much further ado...

I am diplomatic. Nosferatu is my favorite silent version of Dracula. Dracula with Lugosi is my favorite black and white sound version. And Hammer's Dracula is my favorite color version. The Louis Jordan version is the most faithful to the novel--too bad someone other than him wasn't Dracula and that it was shot on film instead of video.

While I think Bela Lugosi is legendary as Dracula, I can't help but think Oldman's Dracula is the better movie. So I voted for the latter. I'm shocked to have learned now that Billy the Kid Versus Dracula 1966 wasn't based on a chapter from Bram Stoker's novel.

I'm rather surprised that Bram Stoker's Dracula won, as it received such a split opinion (one of those "love-it-or-hate-it" bits). Thanks to everyone who voted!
