There are some films which, may not tick every box when it comes all other criteria of a good movie, but ooze so much the element of badassery through every pore that they just transcend their medium and are worthy of being mentioned in a category all on their own.
Not just films that have one or two badass characters, or a couple of badass scenes - like Star Wars:Rouge One had one awesome Darth Vader scene, but the rest was very different.
But films that pump badassery into your veins with every beat, like going to a Manowar concert.
The 13th Warrior, I watch every couple of years or so, is one of my favorites.
Blade I and II. Terminator II. 300. Predator. Conan the Barbarian, the Arnie version. Rambo. They just don't make em like they used to anymore.
