This is not a question about what you think of him as president. This is a question about if you think he was a good actor and only that.
I have only seen him in the movie Dark Victory ( 1939 ) and i thought he was ok in it.

I thought he was quite good in King's Row. It's a very peculiar story, but quite interesting.

He is supposed to have said "I was a poor man's Errol Flynn" or something similiar, meaning he could star in b-movies, but play the friend to the hero in A-movies. Reflecting on his career.
He kept himself in the limelight hosting a lot of TV-serials, back in the days when TV-serials had a host.
Storm Warning 1951, starring Doris Day and Ginger Rogers, a noir about a girl who falls for a man who belongs to KKK, Reagan did a good job playing a reporter/journalist in that one.
