Those movies are The Hitcher, Batman Begins, and Sin City. He was great in The Hitcher, so what went wrong with this guy's career? Did he have a bad agent, or was he blamed for the box office failure of Blade Runner?

Blame 'Bloodhounds of Broadway' and 'Split Second', both massive failures...Booted him to the C list in films, which is too bad, because he's an excellent actor...He has done some respectable work in TV, though...
Best 10 Films (In no real order): Soldier of Orange Nighthawks Blade Runner Ladyhawk Flesh & Blood Buffy the vampire slayer Sin City Batman Begins The Hitcher A Breed Apart

Well, he wouldn't have been in Batman Begins without Blade Runner, which was a huge influence on that film and Nolan. Plus, Ford, the actual star, seemed to do alright. Not that you actually care beyond trolling "annoying Blade Runner fanboys", but I imagine being a creepy foreign actor would relagate him in Hollywood like it did guys such as Peter Stormare.

His exit in Blade Runner is one of the most moving scenes in film.
