NPR should retire those 40-second musical interludes that occur three or more times an hour, especially in the morning. They, along with vocal fry and up-speak, have turned me away from NPR.

Besides Hotel California and Stairway to Heaven, I'd add Don't Stop Believin' by Journey, Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffett, and Van Morrison's Brown-Eyed Girl. The latter two are okay songs which have just been overplayed over the years; the first song was always nauseating as well as overplayed.

As much as I hate to say it, I could happily live the rest of my life without ever hearing Bohemian Rhapsody again.

Imagine, since it is so bland and dull.
