I'm not surprised the Panthers lost. I think their defense isn't very good and I have no faith in Cam Newton, tonight he threw 3 picks and choked under pressure again. Eagles look very strong, like I say, they are very solid all around.

Cam is his own worst enemy at times. Atlanta is back in first place in the NFC South and haven't even played in 12 days.

Eagles look very strong, like I say, they are very solid all around. Their defense was #1 in the league before the Saints game. Their defense was just fine today while Kuechly was there. Newton threw picks once his Kuchly-less defense crumbled and he got pressure after pressure. Also, he did throw some nice passes that his receivers dropped. I'm not sure if Cam was the one entirely responsible for this loss. Not to forget Rivera. WTF was that, not kicking that FG??? I agree that the Eagles are starting to look like NFC champions, if they can beat the Falcons. Chiefs vs. Eagles, the Super Bowl? Certainly at this point it looks like that, but of course it's still too early, 10 more games to go.

The Eagles beat the refs and the Panthers. They should make them 6-1 just out of principle. Pete Marinelli is a known Philly hater and it shows. He has not refed a game for the Eagles since the Lions last season. In that game the Eagles had 128 penalty yards and the Lions had 18. Last night was the first time in NFL history that one team had 120+ penalty yards while the other had less than 10. This guy is a joke of a ref. Well the Eagles won anyway so screw you.

Kuechly's starting to get those concussion numbers up. He may not last in the league many more years.

Kuechly's starting to get those concussion numbers up. He may not last in the league many more years. It's a shame. He is one of the best players in the entire league and apparently also a very nice guy in real life. It's his third concussion. I hope he is well and recovers, but you're right that one after the other like this, takes a toll.

When you say that it's his third concussion it's probably more like his 17th if you count high school, college, and the unreported ones. Hopefully he'll be ok.

No wonder many professional football players end up with dementia. It's sad. On the other hand, they get paid very well, and some of the wise ones get a good chunk of money then quit, to preserve their health.
