This was one of the most popular games at IMDb.com. I think we will have fun with it. Rules below. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am thinking of a movie. You name a movie and I tell you one thing that the movie I am thinking of has in common with the one you have named. The next player uses that as a clue to guess what movie I am thinking of. I do the same with that entry as I did with the first. No player may post two consecutive entries within 12 hours of each. If no one guesses correctly after twenty guesses (which is not likely to occur very often) then the OP gets 20 points. Otherwise, the player with the correct answer gets the number of points that is proportional to the number of guesses that were left to go (in other words, if a player guesses correctly on the 17th entry, that player gets three points). The winner gets to post the next game but may decline by posting the word "pass". If the winner of a game does not play or pass within 24 hours of being declared the winner, the game is up for grabs. Patience, of course, is a necessity. The host of the game cannot be at the computer all day to give clues and it often takes several days before the correct answer is revealed. IMDb.com is the reference source for this game.
So here we go. I am thinking of a movie.

The winner gets to post the next game but may decline by posting the word "pass". In any case, whoever starts the second game sets up a scoreboard and must also repost the rules. After that, every player who starts a new game also reposts the rules and adjusts the scoreboard. Patience, of course, is a necessity. The host of the game cannot be at the computer all day to give clues and it often takes several days before the correct answer is revealed.

1. When Marnie Was There - nominated for at least one Oscar.

I will be gone a long time today so feel free to keep posting movie titles. You need not wait for me to respond. Just no two successive entries from the same player, please. This game might be a little confusing at first but it will take off like a shot when everybody gets the hang of it. Enjoy!

2. Horror Hotel (aka City of the Dead)
by the way, brad, could you cut and paste the rules and set up the scoreboard? If I remember right, you played this game with us on IMDb.com and you might remember how to do it. I can do it if necessary. Just trying to stick to the original rules. Thanks.

You'll have to do it. I think you have me confused with someone else, I never even used the Game boards on the old IMDb.
