I'll bite. The best car I've ever owned was a 1997 Mercury Sable. Other than a few mechanical problems such as the transmission slipping and the battery dying because of an aftermarket alarm system, it was my favorite. It drove smooth, and didn't guzzle gas. I even upgraded some of the internal components such as the radio and sound system. Unfortunately, one accident was all it took in order for me to junk it. It was a major fender bender. When my airbag deployed, it shattered the windshield. Even with that, the car just died. It wouldn't drive anymore. The worst was a 1973 Mercury Comet. The passenger side front wheel fell off while it was parked in the driveway (think it rusted). The previous owner lived near a beach and didn't drive it in God knows how many years. Thank goodness I wasn't in the car at the time. 1997 Mercury Sable: 1973 Mercury Comet:

Worst one was when my siblings and I shared a Ford Thunderbird ten years past its time in high school until it got t-boned by an SUV. It wasn't me driving. Then I bought a cobalt then traded it in for a civic.

I'm bumping this thread even though I can't drive, as I want to see other people's responses.

I've loved every car I've ever owned. The best was a 1976 Pontiac Sunbird. It gave me no problems and it was fun to drive.

I suppose the worst was my first, a 1959 Ford Galaxie. It was almost an antique when I bought it from an old man who hardly ever drove it. It's only the worst because it didn't have air-conditioning, power steering or power brakes. I added a stereo and a surfboard rack on top.

Cool cars. I'm jealous.

The car I own now, a 1995 Gray Camry XLE, which I've owned for 10 years, is my favorite.
I owned three 10 year old Cadillacs at different times (one a full limo) when I lived in Manhattan, and I liked them all.

I can't really come up with the best as I had a 1999 Mustang that gave me no problems while I had it. I had a 2013 Camaro that I had for 3 years and it gave me no problems.
I currently own a 2004 Jeep Liberty that I got brand new and the only thing I had go wrong with it was a broken belt pulley. I also have a 2016 Camaro that I've had for 2 years and it has given me no problems. I would say my favorite out of all of them is the 2016 Camaro.
The worst was my very first car. A 1987 Camaro. I loved the car and it has a special place for me as it was my first, but I swear it was cursed. I literally had it break down on the way home from the service shop after getting something totally different fixed.
