He needs to give this up already. Man his ego must be the size of Trump's. As an employer I can choose not to hire anyone for any reason with 4 things being the exception.
Race Gender Sexual Orientation Religion
He not claiming any of that. I am tired of him and his smug face trying to be in the limelight.

It’s a ridiculous grievance. So many things work against him here.
its almost impossible to prove.
He is the one who voided his contract with the Niners.
There are are many others who have knelt and are still employed.
its time for this idiot to just go away.

There are a few additional protected classes for employment discrimination: older than 40, national origin (as long as they are US citizens or permanent residents), and people with mental or physical disabilities as long as they can do the job efficiently. Sexual Orientation however is not a protected class for employment discrimination. People in general assume that it is, but it is not. Not that it makes any difference in Kaepernick's case. I think there is collusion but he will never be able to prove it, therefore has no case.

I feel sorry for him.
The level of sanctimonious whining about his behaviour, mainly from Republicans I think, is clearly way out of control. He took a knee during a song... big deal! Get over it! I even heard one congressman say he is a terrorist and is sympathetic to ISIS. I mean these are the same people who will endlessly complain that political correctness has gone mad with one hand, then endlessly complain that a piece of cloth has been disrespected with the other.
Just a shame really for Kaepernick he has been ostracised in his own country and that he plays a sport where there isn't really an alternative country he can go and play in.

Just saying...

This is laughable. It's impossible to prove. Some people I don't think know what collusion would entail. They say things like "Well, Brandon Weeden has a job! That PROVES it!" No, it totally doesn't. It looks like all 32 teams have decided not to touch him. And that's totally OK. What wouldn't be is if all 32 teams got together and agreed amongst themselves not to sign him. Good luck proving that

I would be surprised to find out any of the guys who posted they were sick of Kap in this thread are republicans. You however obviously have some petty problems with the US that you try and veil with passive aggressive threads where you spew bigoted vitriol about the US under the guise of "joking". Also the guy you feign sorrow for can play in Canada or the Arena League or do you think all those scary Illuminati NFL owners control those too? Look out mangy they might come after you. Give you to those countless perverts that rape with no repercussions on your tiny island with the blessing of the queen.

He's not claiming that the owners violated discrimination laws by not hiring him. He's claiming that the owners violated the CBA, which prohibits collusion by teams. But it's going to be practically impossible for him to prove collusion.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. When Peyton Manning retired and Brock Osweiler signed with Houston, Denver was looking for a starting QB. Kaepernick had a chance to sign with Denver but he didn't want to take a pay cut.
And he brought this all on himself with his refusing to stand during the anthem.

Every time you reply to me, you always shoehorn 'rape' or Jimmy Saville into the conversation. I'm beginning to think an Englishman came over and raped your fat arse. Listen, after that grotesque "thing" you republicans knowingly put into the White House, you should not be allowed to get on your high horse about rape, molestation or sexual assault for at least another 50 years.

What do you mean by "you Republicans"? You sure do like to pre judge, huh? I guess you will make an excuse for being prejudiced now. For the record I didn't vote for Trump. Did you vote for Brexit? I've never been raped thank goodness. Rapists are evil which is why I find it so tragic that there were mass coverups from the queen on down in the UK for decades. I'm sure the royals are part of the Iluminati you think controls the NFL if such an entity exists of course. Why do you never spew your hate at any of your own leaders? Just plain jingoism and bigotry or is there more to it? I'm actually curious. You always bring up Trump and rape yourself. Did that soccer pedo that turned you out come from the US? Now you have rape fantasies about being "forced" to suck some cheeto orange dong? No judgement here mate. It's not your fault. I'm sorry your soccer coach did that to you though. Did no one offer to help or did you keep it buried deep inside? That wasn't the only thing buried deep inside was it? Damn that queen for not helping you lot. You should contact your pal Kap and see if he has as much sympathy for you as you do him. Do you think he should have just extended his contract by the way? Do you think his "activist" girlfriend is as culpable as the NFL for keeping him out of a job? The Ravens were ready to give him a job before his boo went on a tirade saying the owner was a slave owner for you know employing African Americans so in my opinion she is very much to blame for him not having a job in Baltimore right now. It's a valid question and I would like your opinion.

1. It is always you who initiates a conversation with me, never the other way round. 2. It is always you who bring up rape. ALWAYS. You're obsessed. 3. You are always hostile to the tiniest bit of criticism to the Republican party. You love them. 4. I actually feel a bit sorry for the poor guy who raped your raggedy arse.

It's a message board so the intention is to initiate conversations. Your non soccer posts are almost without fail hate filled bigoted nonsense aimed at Americans. I despise bigots and you are a particularly stupid one so I don't think you should get a free pass simply because you have a swarthy guy in your avatar. I am not a Republican. I'm non partisan. You are an obvious jingoist as any mention of your countries countless problems always make you flip out and leap on the defensive. I have no interest in your islands various political parties because why would I? Are Tories and Whigs still a thing there? Who gives sweet FA? Not me. I ALWAYS ask you questions relevant to the thread in which you are spewing your hateful slurs and you NEVER have even a slightly relevant answer because you are a hate filled ignorant troll. Again I asked you questions that a person familiar with the Kap topic would have an opinion about and you just ignored all of them You have no thoughts on Kap and you don't give a shit about him. This topic just gave you another opportunity to open up your gob and hurl hate which seems to be all that sustains you. It's quite pathetic to be honest as are you. It's baffling that more people don't see you for the obvious bigot troll you are. You all about that butt sex, huh? Sorry mangy but I'm not into guys.

Do you think he should have just extended his contract by the way? Well I've made this point before, but I don't think he should have extended his contract. When you play in a team you should always have each others backs when it comes down to it, even if maybe you don't even like one or two team-mates. Whether you are on the field, off the field having a drink together in a bar or club or one of your team-mates is waving a sponsorship form in your face to save endangered Pandas or something, you should always have each others backs. Now it maybe that you don't give a shit about Pandas, but you still make a small donation if it matters to a team-mate, that's what teams do. Now would it have really killed his team-mates to have knelt with him, even once, just to help take the heat off him? To stand as one? They clearly didn't have his back here. They weren't a team. Maybe you could argue he should have given up the kneeling when it was obvious his team-mates weren't going to stand as one (or kneel as one), but even so, I don't blame him for walking. When you know that you would always back your team, I would have been pissed if my team-mates hadn't backed me over something I thought was important, so I would have walked as well.

I personally believe that everything has a place. Any person should be free to protest against what she or he considers to be a valid cause but sports stadium (at a time when a game is being conducted in it) is not something that I believe should be an avenue for political messages. He could do the same after the completion of every game outside the stadium. I believe sports should be kept away from politics. But then some people may not think like me and I don't have anything against them.

Yeah, I don't think that that's true. Stranger things have happened in our politics (look at the god damn white house), but this sounds entirely made up. If that happened and I somehow didn't hear about it, then that's even more remarkable that such a comment wasn't turned into a huge news story.
Anyway, the bottom line is that Colin Kaepernek could have any opinion he wanted to if he was good enough. He was a medium tier player at the very best who was likely washed up anyway, and most teams say he's not worth the PR nightmare. And let's also not pretend that he's some righteous, crusading intellectual. He's said some really stupid things and doesn't seem to know much about a lot of these topics he feels so strongly about, and whole playing IN MIAMI declared his respect and admiration for Fidel Castro and communism.. in a town where a huge portion of the population are refugees from that regime. Obviously that's not gonna go over well.
Clearly, if he wasn't a political lightning rod the he would have a job, but he would not be a starting player anywhere, and it's not out of reasonable possibility that each team that needs a backup decided his bahhahe wasn't worth it. He has no case.
