Hi Admin. How did you get a sticky to show up on all the different sections of the forum? Did you have to post this individually on the boards or did you just make one thread and it allowed you to post it everywhere? Back when I was an Admin and moderator on forums I could only post one sticky in a section but that was on phpBB2 and 3.

i think other general topics should be placed right after general discussion or just more near the top of general boards
and genres should be with movies and maybe also television
it seems odd that they are so far down
technology should be last
like the reorganizing though

i think other general topics should be placed right after general discussion and genres should be with film and maybe also television it seems odd that they are so far down technology should be last like the reorganizing though - I kept General Discussion at the top because it just seems that's where it needs to be, and I don't want to put all the general boards on top and push Movies down. The General Boards have always been far down, but with this layout, they're actually higher up than they were before. - The problem with Genres is 1) They are not exclusive to either movies or television, and 2) other than the Horror board, they just aren't all that active. - I resurrected Technology out of Legacy just to see if there's any life left in it. If it doesn't pick up after some time, I'll probably move it somewhere else. Thanks for the input. |

genres should be with movies and maybe also television Ok, after some more thought, I moved Genres to the Movies category. I also alphabetized the General Boards to preclude accusations of 'favoritism.' Haha. |

I'd like to see the 'Other General Topics' added to the main General Boards list. Simpler and cleaner. And it might promote activity if they're more visible. It's already there. Plus, the reason they are in "Other" is precisely because the lack of activity. They had their chance. Also, and this might be controversial...but I think the Soapbox would be better as a sub board of General Discussion. Not gonna happen. And wrestling should be a sub board of sports. I asked the Sports boarders about this a while back. It was an overwhelming no. Something about wrestling not being a sport. In fact, they were adamantly against any sub-boards. I'm not touching the Sports board. Actually, I moved it out of Genres: imdb2.freeforums.net/thread/63594/relocationI hate the Genre boards, TBH. I thought about just scrapping them all. |

Thanks, I looked all through the boards and didn't see it. It was buried under "Other General Topics," but I moved it back out where it was. FYI: The links to the boards don't change, so if you bookmark them in your browser, the bookmarks will take you to them no matter where they are. |

I haven't had a chance to look over the new format, yet. In general, I think that it's a good idea to do a little re-arranging, now and then. It forces some exploration, and possible new discoveries.
The Radio board is of interest to me, as I made my career in radio. I'm anxious to see how it will be received.
