13 Movie Remakes that, though not as good as the original, you did not actually HATE !
01. Sabrina - Bogart, Holden and Audrey vs Ford, Kinear and Ormond
02. The 1989 TV movie Breaking Point starring Corbin Bernsen, which was a remake of 36 Hours (1965) which starred James Garner.
03. The Mechanic (2011) (Original is a great classic, but I love Jason Statham.)
04. 3:10 to Yuma . Both good in their own way.
05. Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) - it had quite a creepy vibe - I think I prefer it
06. Lord of the Flies (1990) - Having already seen the original in English class, I didn't see this remake when it first came out in theaters, but I saw it some years ago on TV and it was actually a decent movie.
07. King Kong 1976 = not hated BUT they should have stopped there and not made any more.

11. It Happened One Christmas - I saw this 1977 made-for-TV movie starring Marlo Thomas and Olson Welles when I was a kid and loved it. Years later, I would watch It's a Wonderful Life for the first time and realized the former movie had been a remake of the latter.
