for the month of this October season ? It can be one film at a time or also be in movie marathons from TV Channels , DVD , Blu Ray , Streaming , etc. too . Also from any type of film categories like - Sci Fi Horror , Noir , suspense , psychological , thriller , & horror etc. or any others like this of course . At current I'm watching a TV mini movie marathon on the channel TCM ( Turner Classic Movies ) . 1. Satellite in the Sky (1956) 2. War of the Planets (1966) 3. Indestructible Man (1956)

Hi there mszanadu , how did you enjoy those odd sci-fi features ? We watch a film every evening, October for us (wfpx) has been almost exclusively a Japanese Classics month, and will continue to be, as I have a stockpile of classic DVDs from the 30s to the late 70s, and have developed a bit of an addiction to Japanese Classic film. Have been discovering some exceptional films which I have mentioned and recommended on the weekly "what did you watch threads". Drama, Historical, Musical, Supernatural, Comedy, Crime a great diversity. Many of the films I have been watching are not widely known many with less than 100 IMDb, ratings and a surprising number of standout films, in need of 5 ratings! I have uploaded over 30 posters and DVD covers in the past month to IMDb,as many of the great films watched lately did not have a representative picture/photo, have reviewed a some of these. All of our viewing is from DVDs sourced from around the world, we have none of those film services at our home. Awaiting on the shelves are classic films from Europe and Australia... Happy October Viewing to you... Sakura no mori no mankai no shita , Under the Cherry Blossoms (1975)

I especially enjoyed " War of the Planets " from 1966 ( it was an Italian Sci Fi film with English overdub on the dialogue IMPO - perfectly done also ) . It was a real good combination of films indeed and the very first time I saw all of these as well . I agree also that certain Japanese films are quite good at least the ones I have seen along the way over the years . Of course most of the ones I have seen were the American version remakes but I have seen some of the originals from those remakes also and were still very good just same . Thanks so much manfromplanetx for the movie recommendation of " Under the Cherry Blossoms " from 1975 and your reply too .

Mutiny on the Bounty (1962 film) This does look like a real good one too ( surprisingly I have not seen this one or the 1935 version here either ) . Thanks so much teleadm for this movie recommendation and your reply .

Thanks so much mikef6 for your reply .
