..... rather than keep watching new films. i think there are very few works of art which can really affect you. once you've discovered the ones that speak to you, there is no need to go in search of others, like a man goes in search of the ultimate sexual fulfillment by sleeping with many women.

True to an extent. But I generally find something worthwhile in new Westerns and Film Noirs. But maybe it's better to follow this policy after a certain age.

But maybe it's better to follow this policy after a certain age. yeah man. i think in the case of movies, a lot of the films considered to be classics are pretty damn good. but i find that a lot of the movies which are considered to be obscure lost gems are kind of overrated. but its always great when you find a killer obscure gem like HITCH-HIKE (1977) or something.

I have got a great print of Rabid Dogs. But there is no audio.
Today, I watched Passengers( 2016). It turned out to be a chick flick in space. What a shame. Great visuals, though.

i watched it in the theater. great visuals indeed. great bar. and that flood in the swimming pool was great. but the film was average.
