The same happened with me when I applied for it in May. No record existed of my application one month later.

I went through the municipality. I wonder what they did with the data. Maybe it was used for the aadhar of some illegal immigrant. Who knows. |

It has been 6 months. I had almost forgotten. Hard to imagine how hard lives are north of Vindhyas. Down here we hate our bureaucracy for delaying things but up there the delay seems forever. I cherish life down here and how we southerners especially in AP and Tamilnadu escaped persecution by foreign invaders, thanks to our incredibly splendid "blue armour". (My grand father doesn't even remember what happened on 15th aug, 1947 because it wasn't anything more than change of admin down here). AP and TN outside of Hyderabad never witnessed a communal riot. Contrast with Punjab and Bengal during partition. Hope nowhere in my life I am forced to settle in Hindi Heartland or any of the big cities of India where reproduction and suffering seems to be all that is going. |
