Anyone have a few at all? I'll say Tyler Durden for an example.

Iago King Lear Sorry, all Shakespearean, don't read "series" as such. Anne of Green Gables, maybe.

politicidal I hadn't even heard of the latter two, I wouldn't include Malcom myself, but I'm with you completely on Holmes, Quatermain, and Lecter. Just for fun, I'll throw in Odysseus, Launcelot, Robin Hood, Capt. Peter Blood, Prof. George Challenger, Long John Silver, and Captain Nemo. Guess y'can tell where my reading interests lie, I suppose...

Anyway, Tyrion is Peter Dinklage's character from Game of Thrones and Ethan Gate is actually my current profile pic;he's the hero from a series of historical mystery novels by William Dietrich. Think Indiana Jones' adventures meets Richard Sharpe's war stories with a bit of Harry Flashman's sexual conquests. I recommend them.

If I had to pick another literary character, Richard Sharpe, would be next. I like Indiana Jones, I like Flashman, and I like historical novels, but have never heard of Ethan Gate/ William Dietrich. Looked them up, and they look right up my strasse! Thanks for the heads up...

What cypher said: "I like Indiana Jones, I like Flashman, and I like historical novels, but have never heard of Ethan Gate/ William Dietrich," and they seem right up my--er--strasse as well. Many thanks for letting us know about 'em, politicidal; I wondered who your profile pic was!
