Oscar campaigns for films is no big deal and no indication of nomination. Many studios put up films that have no chance in some categories. There have been campaigns in the past for some terrible films. There was a push for Fast & Furious 7 for best pic, and ditto this year for the new Transformers film There was no push for Fast & Furious 7, Vin Diesel made a comment that he thinks it would've had a shot and that was it. Nobody really took it seriously. Paramount only made one serious push for a Transformers movie, and it was back in 2014 for Age of Extinction, other times just for technical categories( Which is far more plausible than for direction, acting, screenwriting, or best picture). Nonetheless your point stands though - it's no big deal, and Hollywood does this more often than people like DC-Fan thinks.

They aren't, they're just giving you a reality check - Studios do this for all sorts of films, doesn't mean they get what they want or that the films in question rightfully deserve so.

Bullshit! Her theme music makes me want to rip off my clothes and charged into battle!!! I always hear this and completely disagree. I hate the DCEU score with a passion. To each their own. Even 'Beautiful Lie' & 'Day of the dead'? Careful how you answer, I have the mental asylum on speed-dial.

'Day of the Dead' is the Superman news report montage, with the addition of him saving the girl in Mexico.

The e-chello music from WW can be played on the streets and most people will immediately know what it is.
DCEU already achieved this iconic status with film 2, if not with the MoS theme which is similarily iconic, albeit in the mighty J. Williams shaddow. That is quite some feat, like it or not.

The Man of Steel theme is ok and the Wonder Woman theme is good, but I wouldn't call them iconic at all. I don't hear people humming along like I do Star Wars.

It's not on the same level quality wise, but these are defenitely the most iconic film music themes of the last decade in the sense of immediately widely recognized and well-established in pop culture/general public, like a brand.
I personally do not care for Zimmer's "composing" much, but the WW theme is definitely up there, a master stroke in terms of iconic brand recognition.
