DC-Fan I'll tell you what, buddy, your constant attempt at changing this series of threads about each week's winners and losers, to your customary hate feast against Tom Brady, is irritating, so I am asking you nicely to refrain from trying again to derail this thread series. It would be nice if you could debate the various games and the various teams. Sure, you hate Brady, we know that, but feel free to start your own thread about him, instead of trying to change the topic of some other thread. Thank you in advance. Shouldn't you be bitching at KKK Brady, as well, then? If you are calling out thread hijacking, at least be fair about it. Shady Brady won his 1st 4 Super Bowls by cheating and not playing fair so of course the Brady fanboys here on this board aren't going to be fair about it either.

If you or anyone else want to debate the various games and various teams each week, then I'm all for that as long as it's truthful and not a bunch of lies. But as long as you continue to hype up a proven cheater and fraud like Shady Brady as the GOAT, then I will continue to call out your lies by posting out the truth. And the truth is that Shady Brady isn't the GOAT, he's the GCOAT (Greatest Cheater of All Time).
And just because you Brady fanboys have bought into the lies, don't try to bully me into conceding to a bunch of lies and and ignoring the truth.
Whatever you say, one-trick pony.

What DC-Fan is saying is that he will continue to disrupted any thread where Tom Brady or the Patriots accomplishments are acknowledged and/or praised ... and no "lying" moderator is going to stop him.
Welcome to the Brady fanboy club, JohnTheHumble! We are a vast nationwide conglomerate of NFL fans, players and the sports media. We have a big ol' party following every World Championship. Recently, that's been every other season. It's a blast!
On the flip side is the Brady is a cheater club. DC-Fan is the president. There are weekly encounter sessions in his mothers basement where they discuss how to cope with Tom Brady's growing collection of championship rings. Attendees are usually himself, and his complete collection of superhero action figures.

Attendees are usually himself, and his complete collection of superhero action figures. "They" discuss? That club has a membership of one, LOL. I think pretty much every NFL fan recognizes Brady's greatness and understands that the "cheating" was Goodell's doing rather than Brady's. Oh wait, I do see now that you said the membership is DC-Fan and his collection of action figures, right! As for the issue of moderation, I just asked nicely. I'm not trying to bully DC-Fan by using my condition of being a moderator. What he is doing is annoying but is not against the Terms of Service so he has nothing to fear from me (as long as he doesn't violate the ToS). I'm not about to use my moderation powers to favor myself or my thread; that wouldn't be fair or ethical. If I weren't a moderator, I'd have said exactly the same thing. What I said is my personal opinion, not a moderation opinion. Maybe I should have made that clear, but if I didn't, I'm doing it now. I'd never abuse my powers. I just wish he'd keep things on topic. I posted a huge post commenting on all the games with hundreds of words and he predictably focused on 4 letters I wrote, GOAT. I mean, that's just my opinion, that Brady has reached this status. Like you said, this opinion is shared by many, and I'm entitled to it, so it's not exactly "a lie." But if he insists, I could say CGP, as in Current Greatest Player. I think this would be something agreed upon by an even bigger crowd. Who exactly is currently greater than Tom Brady?

I think pretty much every NFL fan recognizes Brady's greatness and understands that the "cheating" was Goodell's doing rather than Brady's. Goodell's doing? So you're now claiming that Roger Goodell is so influential that he was able to influence an unbiased federal appellate court judge with no affiliation to the NFL to say on the record in open court that "the evidence of ball tampering is compelling"? That's a really weak excuse.
I've always been fair and unbiased. After the Wells Report concluded that Brady was guilty of cheating and the Arbitrator upheld Brady's 4-game suspension for cheating and Brady appealed the case in court, I wrote a post on the ol IMDb saying that I was glad that the case would go to court because now we'll get a verdict from federal judges who have no affiliation to the NFL and no bias in the case and I wrote that I would accept whatever final verdict the court came back with so if the court's final verdict was that Brady was not guilty then I would accept that because I'm always fair and unbiased.
Well, the court came back with a verdict of guilty and 1 judge even said on the record in open court that "the evidence of ball tampering is compelling". So being fair and unbiased, I accepted the court's final verdict. But it seems you Brady fanboys are so biased in favor of Brady that you still refuse the accept the verdict of a federal appellate court that Roger Goodell has no influence over at all.
Like I said before, I'm all for a discussion of the various games and various teams each week as long as it's honest and accurate, but not when you keep propagating the same lies that federal appellate judges have already debunked. If your child came home from school 1 day and said "Today our history teacher taught us that Charles Lindberg was the 1st person in history to fly a plane", wouldn't you be upset that the teacher is teaching your child such historical inaccuracies? So why would you continue to support the lies and inaccuracies that a proven cheater and fraud like Shady Brady is the GOAT when the whole country outside of New England overwhelming knows that the Shady One isn't the GOAT, he's the GCOAT (Greatest Cheater of All Time)?

Celebrating a tainted championship doesn't make it any more valid. 2 weeks ago, federal employees all across the country got a holiday off from work in celebration of Columbus Day. But celebrating Columbus Day doesn't change the historical fact that Columbus wasn't the 1st European to discover the New World. Likewise, celebrating the Patriots' tainted championships doesn't change the historical fact that at least 4 of those championships were won by cheating and thus will be recorded in the history books as tainted championships.

Poor DC-Fanboy. Repeating the same failed arguments.
Like HAL 9000 in 2001: A Space Odyssey, after most of his brain function was pulled out.

Poor DC-Fanboy. Repeating the same failed arguments. Like HAL 9000 in 2001: A Space Odyssey, after most of his brain function was pulled out. This is why I put him on ignore as soon as he joined the site. I can appreciate clever trolling, but DC Fan just isn't funny. He makes the same stock arguments and when you completely debunk them he feigns ignorance, refuses to reply to your argument (while continuing to argue with others) or makes up a zany story. The last straw for me on the old site was when he said Golden State Warriors fans didn't hold up 'Free Draymond' signs when he was suspended. I posted a bunch of pictures of fans doing exactly that, and he said he didn't know about it. Keep in mind he allegedly lives in the Bay area. That was enough for me, I can only take so much of the message board equivalent of the Peanuts teacher droning on about nothing.

I'll tell you what, buddy, I'll not engage with you about this. Whatever you believe in, champ. I have different beliefs; we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I'll tell you what, buddy, I'll not engage with you about this. Whatever you believe in, champ. I have different beliefs; we'll just have to agree to disagree. Don't bother. I posted articles from different independent journalists who examined how the case against Brady was rigged in the NFL offices from the beginning and that the science proves Brady innocent. Somebody else posted a link which showed the Patriots led the league (again) with the fewest turnovers the year after deflategate. I posted Brady's passing numbers which went up, across the board, the year following Deflategate. He never replied to any of that because it's irrefutable truth. Here are a few examples: www.si.com/nfl/2016/10/04/tom-brady-deflategate-ideal-gas-lawwww.nytimes.com/2016/01/23/sports/football/nfl-ignores-ball-deflation-science-at-new-england-patriots-expense.html Never mind the fact that the Super Bowl 51 official film ( produced by the NFL) calls Brady 'The Greatest of All Time.' Anyway I said I wouldn't get involved with this clown again so I'm done here.

That's the problem with DC-Fanboy. He's quick to disrupt a thread with his cut & paste screeds but when challenged, he vanishes into thin air. There are simply too many elements of his oft repeated arguments that can't stand up to scrutiny.
He's basically just a punching bag around here.
