A supercomputer creates our reality. We do not exist. The supercomputer runs everything. It is a game. The supercomputer can make you feel happy or sad. It can give you the illusion of pleasure or pain.
But make no mistake about it. It is all an illusion. It just seem real. When the supercomputer gets bored with one of its creations it give us the illusion of death. But how can there be death when you never existed? There can't. It is all part of the supercomputers game.
Now you know the truth. But don't be sad. Just go on about your business. When the supercomputer gets bored with you, you die. Or at least your so called family and friends think so.

The Indians have known about this supercomputer for thousands of years. I think they call it Vishnu.

Somewhere, in a sea of cryo-pods probably, we're lying there hooked up to the computer. So we're real. Our reality may not be. But WE are.
...And one of us is Neo...

It is not your typical computer. No one created it. When the big bang happened so did the super computer.

By its very nature a computer is a thing that is created because its a machine. However if you were referring to a computer-like mind, a consciousness of some kind, then... maybe. You might also be describing god.

A supercomputer creates our reality. How would we know this/why would we believe it?

A supercomputer creates our reality. How would we know this/why would we believe it? After centuries of controlling people the super computer got somewhat bored. So for the fun of it, it let a few people know that we humans control nothing.
