......a "strong" DCEU villain aside from Zod. Thanks. Not that I think Zod is particularly strong. I just know everyone would choose him.

yeah, that monster at the end of BvS seemed pretty strong, killed Superman and all, but technically it was part of General Zod, and he was pretty superstrong as we know. Ares was the embodiment of war, he was quite strong even though he turned out not as all powerful and controlling, and a Brit. And the black chick in SS was pretty strong, she shot her own guys and got through with it, but the witch that possessed that girl was pretty creepy too. And.. gosh, it's only been 4 movies and I already ran out of rogues.

Can't really call Doomsday a performance, and Amanda Waller wasn't really a villain - you're just avoiding trying to defend Enchantress which no DC fan can do. And Ares was more dull than Red Skull. At least Hugo Weaving looked like he enjoyed the role

I bet Ares could bench at least 500 pounds.
That seems pretty strong to me.

I'm guessing that nobody can point out a strong DCEU villain because there isn't one. Which begs the question - Why are DCEU fans so obsessed with and critical of the weakness of many of the MCU villains?

What does pointing out a strong DC villain have to do with it? They could have the same problem or not and it wouldn't stop Marvel from having the same problem. Besides which DC has had 4 movies while Marvel has has 17 so the comparison doesn't make too much sense anyway.

I can't remember when it started but it wasn't as early as the fourth one as that would have been Thor which still has the best villain. I think it was Iron Man 3. Because people wanted the Mandarin as the villain and they started on that Loki is the best villain in the MCU.

Both DCEU and MCU have only relatively weak villains so far, but one must consider that DCEU currently comprises only of four movies - and DC has of course one of the greatest rogue gallery in franchise history.
The most interesting DCEU villain of the bunch is Harley Quinn by far. I would like to see a movie about her. That would be a interesting counterpoint to WW, the rise of an Anti-Heroin.
SS - like BvS before for WW - might serve as a springboard for her solo movie. This character has the most potential by a mile and is hugely popular already.

And seriously, female anti-heroes and villains are rare, the Harley character has emancipation potential vi-a-vis the bore of sexy female side kicks that we usually get.

All the better, I like about DC that they have a lot in store on the rogue side. They ought to use that potential. Dr Poison will likely be in the next WW anyway.
