We hardly ever see them eating anything and we never see them taking a shit either. I wonder how they avoid dying from starvation or exploding with constipation?!  Except that them eating or shitting doesn't tell us anything about who they are as characters, and would thus be a waste of screen time (other than as a quick joke at the end of Avengers), whereas saving lives is what they are all about.. since they're, you know, super HEROES. Your analogy isn't well thought out. We see them save lives all the time in the films. Shut up. |

That one is pretty hilarious given how loud Batman fans were about the RT rating of TDK. Critics were "honest" then I guess. (and of course honest again this year with WW) Death threats to critics? Let's not forget who invented that little gem. Inventing countless "flaws" in Marvel movies that are also present in DC movies? You guys are actually bold about that one. One of my favorites is "Marvel makes kiddie movies". ...But then that is forgotten when it's time to compare box office numbers. If Marvel is selling more tickets to kids, that makes their box office even more impressive since those are cheaper tickets. Marvel fans certainly attack DC movies...but are they actually inventing things? They laugh at the RT scores of DC movies....that's actually a real thing. When you list the things DC fans have invented to complain about with Marvel movies, it looks kind of disturbing and/or immature. |

I know. Yeah, it started in 2008 and never stopped. A whole decade of being insulted, belittled, and accused of things such as pedophilia for being an MCU fan. And its not bullshit. The DC side DID start it (and you will never convince me otherwise). I was there. I remember very clearly being able to have civil conversations about comic book movies before the summer of Ironman and The Dark Knight. That's when the Nolanites got uppity and attacked everyone, basically. Um, these are the same nasty DC trolls from back then and they say the same horrible things to me now. "just words" Words are powerful enough to stop or start wars. Words can cause person to commit suicide or stop them from doing it. Words hold a lot more power than you're giving them credit for.
