Anyone watch the series finale? Yes, and it was pretty terrible. "Hey look! We paid for a real tiger ( and also a CGI tiger! ) Let's make an entire episode out of it!"

I thought it was a decent series finale. I knew Abbot was the shooter after seeing her crazy and Lee not admitting to shooting Gamby on Venetian Nights episode. I was laughing when the tiger attacked the trainer instead of Abbot.

I figured it was Abbott as well a perfect in plain sight type as well.

When Lee denied being the shooter, I had my doubts, and now those doubts have been validated.
The finale wasn't bad, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a bit of a letdown. They could've made it more suspenseful. It wasn't even as funny as most episodes (more silly).
But I can't complain, it's been a wild ride, an awesome ride really, and a thoroughly entertaining show. I'm sad it's over, but I hope Jody Hill, Danny McBride, and David Gordon Green can come up with another brilliant show.
P.S. For fans of Eastbound & Down like myself, it was cool to see "Stevie" in the final minutes of the finale.

It was nice to see McBride play a slightly more stable character for once with some morals even. I thought Walt Goggins was hilarious and odd and brilliant as always.

Right, i meant Stevie. McBride was Kenny, of course. ...Yeah, I actually had never seen Goggins before this show. He really impressed me with his performance.

If you haven't seen Goggins I highly recommend you check him out in Justified. He is perfect as Boyd Crowder the sort of villain of the show. He was also great in The Shield. Actually I haven's seen him give a bad performance. You must not be a Quentin Tarantino fan. Gaggins has a small part in Django and is one of the leads in The Hateful Eight. Both also recommended.

I binge-watched Justified. Timothy Oliphant was great but I also was fascinated by the Crowder character and his descent into evil. He had found religion in season 1 (which I think was sincere but fruitless, not an act.) He brought down everyone around him including obviously Eva and even Raylan; both Boyd and Raylan found killing easier and easier. I was dying to see who Eva would end up with, was it possible to live happily ever after with Boyd Crowder. I almost didn't recognize Goggins in Hateful Eight. He's an actor whose presence would give me a reason to watch a show or movie.

I figured it was Abbott as well a perfect in plain sight type as well. I was a little disappointed that the shooter was a crazy person. Expected more of a purpose for the shooting than crazed jealousy. All that stuff with the tiger was almost surreal and Russell fell victim to his own vanity when his tiger mauled him. Everyone kind of got what they deserved and was at peace with it, is how I would summarize this finale. I love the song they ended it with, the Kinks' "Living on a Thin Line". Excellent musical choices in this series.

Although I bet a lot of people get shot due to jealousy in real life.

It could have had the effect of bringing them closer together if his obsessing about the identity of his shooter hadn't turned him into such an insufferable paranoid idiot. I guess Gamby's not a normal guy and Abbott knew it. That was so funny when she roofied Snodgrass's novelist boyfriend at the birthday party. Gamby: "Thanks, that's the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me." Again, it's an odd counterintuitive thing to do, to attack Gamby's rival for Snodgrass is what Gamby wanted so he could have a chance at Snodgrass again. She is a crazy bitch.

A crazy bitches logic is usually...... well crazy. Also the writers had to give us suspects and make Abbot just seem like a "normal" horny clingy female. When they found the gun I knew it wasn't Lee. I was thinking maybe Lee's wife but was skeptical because no real motive. Lee's wife was hot though. What a moron to mess that up. McBride and Goggins made a good team. I would like to see them in something together again. Goggins is always excellent. He is as good at comedy as he is at dramatic roles.

Absolutely loved this show. Goggins and McBride were perfect together. I would have loved to see it continue, but I'd rather have it end with a solid arc instead of overstaying it's welcome. Loved the ending.
