Can you guys help me?
Have you seen a double play with bases loaded, where the second out was at home plate ?
Ive seen in various live games and highlights packages on TV most double plays, but I actually saw this in a girls softball game. Ground ball straight to third base, forced out at third base, threw to home - throw made it easy. Turned two, end of innings. Someone else watching said they have seen similar but at first base, and in an MLB game. I've never seen it in a MLB game at either first or third
So, ever remember something like this happening ? Got a link to a video (that would be good) ? And also, how does that get scored ? ie the classic double play is a 4-6-3 or 6-4-3. Would the above scenario be 5-5-2 ? And at first 3-3-2 ?
Am I asking a stupid question ?

I'm sure I've probably seen it. It doesn't sound unusual. But I can't think of a specific one.
It wold be scored 5 unassisted for the first out, 5-2 for the 2nd.

WTF was that ? It still amazes me that even with 1st and 3rd base "coaches", base running disasters still occur frequently.
