James Lorinz as Dr. Jeffrey Franken. The somewhat disturbed but still sharp minded genius who will end up discovering Super Crack but more importantly also find a way of bringing his former girlfriend back from the grave, much thanks to some very helping hands, legs and breasts specially delivered from the local and seedy meat market downtown. Lorinz does a solid job here in the sleazy and hilarious cult-classic that is Frank Henenlotter's Frankenhooker (1990).

How about Karloff as Dr. Bolton in Corridors of Blood? He's a very different sort of doctor in a horror movie, and a different sort of role for Karloff, which was arguably more suited to him. He's a relentless good guy and humanitarian and gentle soul, which Karloff by all accounts was, and his voice always gave off that effect to me... Vincent Price was sort of that way too.
But a nice guy doctor can also be a favorite from a horror movie.
