So I finally got around to watching it.
I've decided that it isn't a good film, but the ambition was there and it was a legitimate attempt at ending the story even if Argento by this time had abandoned all attempts at stylisation/auteurship (it looked like it could have been made by any generic 90-2000s horror/thriller director). The casting choice for the final mother was really bad though especially in comparison to the distinct Mater Lachrymarum (Ania Pieroni) in Inferno.

Definitely a bad movie, but it’s quite entertaining and has some nice gore. Atleast it’s better than Argento’s next 2 movies.

After Creepers and Terror At The Opera in the 80's, I feel he started to lose his artistic sense of aesthetic a tad. Perhaps he was just running out of new ideas. That pretty much appears to be most film-makers Achilles heel today. Argento, was directing movies when his style was new and refreshing and films still had shock value. They hadn't been done or created in this way before.

Such a crappy movie. Even crazed baboons couldn't make this movie fun to watch. Also does anyone else find it odd that Asia is nude LESS often since she was an adult? It always made me feel a bit creepy when she was nude in her teen years.

Terrible movie in pretty much every possible way and easily Argento's all-time low. Idiotic storyline my some gore fan kids (instead of Daria Nicolodi, who wrote both Suspiria and Inferno), TV soap opera like cinematography and a poor score by Simonetti with some Cradle of Filth thrown in just to make it even worse. No one did a good job with this. 1/10 isn't low enough.
