The way Nintendo is being managed doesn't make any sense. First nintendo came up with the genius Wii, with a perfect controller Wiimote that has no rivals. Even Sony copied it for PS3 as optional. With the WiiU they threw away their perfect controller and made an absurd pece of unplayable crap tablet instead. I was hoping that it was a genuine mistake, and that Nintendo would react rationally by returning to the Wiimote. Instead, Nintendo made the crappiest console possible Switch, that sucks both as portable as much as station. I can't believe that so many smart engineers have to obey these assholes.

Switch was the last hope for me. I don't want handheld nonsense.

I like the Switch, although I never played the Wii or Wii U, so can't compare it with those. But it is the first Nintendo console I've actually felt compelled to buy since the N64, although I've always regretted missing out on the Game Cube.

The Wii was a nice gimmick. It was the console everyone owned but no one played. Don't get me wrong there were song great games for the console. But you can say that for most consoles. Motion controls were really cool. I can't speak for the Sony side of things but The Kinect sucked ass. Continuing would have been a disaster for Nintendo. They did great early on in that console generation but at the end the Xbox 360 sold more. That makes it clear people gone past the motion control gimmick though Nintendo includes them in their games to this day.
The Wii U failed I think due to bad marketing. When I told my friends I got a Wii U they looked at my Wii and asked me where it was. They figured it was supposed to an add on to the Wii and I can't blame them. I thought the controller was okay. At least it was different from what Sony and Microsoft were doing.
And The Switch is awesome. Yeah the Joy-Cons are way too small. I normally use a pro controller. And the fact that you can take it anywhere is a big selling point for the system.

Why do you need Switch as semi portable, when there is 3DS that is a real portable? Switch is not a real console, nor a real portable. It is a classic example of when idiots try to be extra creative, but make useless junk instead.

I decided to compare it to my PS Vita and without the Joy-Cons it's just as long as The Vita. It's a little bit taller. It's both a console and portable. You gave zero reason why that's not true. It works in it's dock and out of it.
