15 minutes left in Ohio. Nervewracking stuff. Might as well be a playoff game. If the Nuts lose, they're out. If Penn State loses, it will be tough to make the Big 10 Championship game. Penn State playcalling has been bad. Hand off to Barkley on 1st down. Gee, think the Buckeyes are expecting that?

What a thriller in Ohio! I spoke too soon, that OSU was getting exposed. Great game, 38-33 now after a failed 2-point conversion by OSU. Still some 4 minutes left.
TCU got upset. Pretty thrilling game too, I'm watching several on the 4-way split screen that Dish provides. Also watching OT between Mich St and N'western. Finished watching ND beating convincingly another ranked team.

And I noticed that Sparty choked against NW. Damn, will I be pulling for the Hawkeyes next week. Still pissed about Penn State. Infantile playcalling and no pressure on Barrett. I knew that they couldn't get through this three game stretch unscathed. The Suckeyes still have tough games. Damn, I hate rooting for Michigan. |

Saw MSU blow it. Had no idea OSU came back.
I hate college OT and the final scores. 17-17 game ends up 39-31 after a few back-and-forth arena rules mini-field touchdowns.

I wasn't here to talk about Georgia but what a dominant beatdown again by the Bulldogs. Thanks to the Buckeyes the Dawgs should be at least #2 in the first Playoff poll. Is it possible they could leap over mighty Bama and be ranked #1? I would be surprised if that happened but they are more than likely headed to a battle in the SEC Championship and I'm far from ready to concede that game to Bama like so many others are.
Again I'm back to being unsure who is the team to beat in the B1G. How good is the B1G? Is Wisconsin for real? How about Miami over in the ACC? Clemson doesn't look like the beast they were last year but you can't count them out. A lot of 1 loss teams hanging around as well. It should be a fun remainder of the season.

I'm predicting another day of upsets. Lots of ranked teams playing each other or playing unranked teams with winning records. A few predictions for today. Northwestern stuns #16 Michigan St in Spartytown. Iowa beats Minnesota and keeps Floyd of Rosedale in Iowa City. NC ST upsets the Irish as Touchdown Jesus lowers his arms and weeps. Iowa State takes down TCU for their 2nd win over a top 5 team this season. Matt Cambell reiterates that he is staying at ISU while the Power 5 bigs come-a-calling. Now for the biggie. I hate to say this but OSU beats PSU, reenters the top 4 and goes on to win the college football championship.(sorry GoodMan) Impressive prediction on 2 upsets. I have to retract my comment that penn st was the best team in the B1G after just one week. With all the close games and upsets it's hard to tell how good the B1G actually is for me. What do y'all B1G fans think about Wisconsin? Is their division weak or are they for real? |

Florida coach got the boot today. Butch Jones will get to finish out the season but no way Tenn gives him another season. I wouldn't be surprised if Gus Malzahn is on the hot seat as well if Auburn loses to Georgia and Alabama to go with their 2 current losses. |
