I like Quantum of Solace but I don't know how to defend it. It's just cool, I like the cinematography, the score, the opening chase scene, the manic pace of action scenes, that Opera house scene is great, I like the flammable hotel action finale, I'm in the minority but I like the theme song, I think the movie has a great cast, I like the idea of Mathieu Amalric as a Bond villain.

Seeing Daniel Craig getting his balls smashed in repeatedly was the funniest and most satisfying thing I've ever seen in any Bond movie

It doesn't quite fit with CR, SF, & Spectre. Which is a blessing for me because Skyfall felt like some repair job & its final act with older ppl grudging is meh re-watchable. Spectre is Austin Powers 4. |
