Two of the most influential and beloved Sci-Fi movies of recent(ish) years. Which one is better, though?
You can use whatever version of Blade Runner that you think is best (Theatrical, Director's, Final, etc).

Blade Runner was the sci-fi cultural gamechanger, Final Cut is a masterpiece. My #37 all time.
ESB is f'n awesome. Would make my top 50-100.

Tough call. As an adult I definitely respect Blade Runner so much, even with all of the various cuts. As a kid I loved ESB, and even saw it at a drive in theater which was completely over the top awesome. Huge screen and seeing those AT-AT's trampling over Hoth was just amazing. Plus, the Millennium Falcon chase through the asteroids was just unbelievable.
Blade Runner has moved up the list of my favorite films over the years though, but ESB just still pulls the edge because of nostalgia and just plain technical mastery of pre-modern day CGI effects.
They both have Harrison Ford though, whom is my favorite modern actor of all time so you really can't go wrong with either.
