I have to say that after seeing her in the movie "WOULD YOU RATHER" which she was actually alright in it, Sasha Grey really has (to me at least) made a pretty impressive transition from the Adult Film Business over to the Movie Business. What does everybody else here think ?

She isn't awful or anything in "Would You Rather" but she isn't given very complex material.
I will say that she impressed me in "Open Windows" though. and that movie requires her to show a range of emotions.
Unlike most porn stars she actually has an interest in film and wants to be taken seriously as a legit actress. She also has screen presence. |

I feel she is good. She seems to depict some genuine acting ability on screen. I'm not sure why she can't get more work. It's been 7 years since she quit the industry. I've never liked her in porn anyway. It never suited her.

There have been a few others who have tried. Traci Lords is the one I can think of that had the greatest degree of success, but where is she now? That's the sort of thing that follows you, especially in the era of the internet.

There have been a few others who have tried. Traci Lords is the one I can think of that had the greatest degree of success, but where is she now? That's the sort of thing that follows you, especially in the era of the internet.
Speaking of Lords, she probably gave the best ex porn star performance I've seen in Excision. |
