It took me a while to figure out how to do this, so I thought I'd post this short tutorial for anyone here who's struggling to respond to someone by quoting them multiple times in a single post. I'll use THIS POST as an example. So when you want to quote a post and break it up, you can't use the Preview view, you must switch over to BBCode, which you can see at the bottom left of the box in which you type your response. You simply highlight/copy the opening quote that has the name and date of the post. It will look something like this: (quote source="/post/SUCHANDSUCH/thread" timestamp="SUCHANDSUCH" author="SOANDSO") Except the "()" will be "[]" You then copy the text, and close it with "[/quote]" (minus quotation marks). You can do this as many times as you like, and you'll get something like this: First of all, tanks all you who has created this great space for film lovers of all kinds after imdb crumbled, hope all you give each other a big hug!!! I'm sure the admin appreciates your thanks. Only a little problem? How do you link to a youtube vidieo, Ive seen many doing it, I've tried but it all turns blah, I know I'm doing something wrong. Use the "Insert Video" link at the top of your post. Its the icon that looks like a movie clapboard. ********************************************************* Before you post you can switch back to Preview view to see how it looks.
